Our group was running late and they were accomodating on pushing out booking, which we were grateful for. The staff were friendly. The food and drink was fantastic. Hot drinks that were included in the price of afternoon tea were unclear so we paid an unexpected additional £15. In the booking we had asked for the prosecco option that was not provided. We weren't sure when this was meant to arrive during the experience and we didn't have enough time to ask for it once we'd finished eaten. They charged us for the normal afternoon tea, which is fine, but it was a celebration which is why we'd booked for the prosecco. It was slow to pay and get boxes for our left overs, which affected other things that afternoon. We did have a lovely time and would still go back despite a few wobbles but perhaps there wasn't enough staffing to be as attentive as normal.

All drink options are ordered on the day as we only take pre-orders for the food element of our bookings. We do however apologise this along with what hot drinks are included in the afternoon tea were not made clear to you during your time with us. I heard that Bath was a great place to enjoy an afternoon tea, and I was looking for a vegan option. I Googled and found Sweet Little Things, and it was great! The tea was delicious, and the sandwiches and sweets were as well. The room was VERY pink, which I loved. A perfect place for a spot of tea!

Such a lovely place to take teenagers for a post gcse celebration. The afternoon tea was delicious. All very ‘instagramable’ thank you x

We had afternoon tea booked for 4:15 we didn’t get to sit down until 4:35 even though we were there on time. The gentleman on the till was pretty rude, the girls serving the tables were working their backsides off up and down the stairs. (There was a hen do up stairs) we only got offered one drink at the beginning when we sat down. But then had to wait ages to ask for more as the young girls were busy with the hen do. (I’d like to point out those girls didn’t stop) The afternoon tea wasn’t anything special, knowing that SWT are known for such fabulous cakes the afternoon tea was very basic and not really worth the money. The vintage birdcage has a better verity and is a lot better value for money and the setting is beautiful. This was a disappointing visit as we had it booked for a special occasion in advance and its was really disappointing.

Our experience at ‘Sweet Little Things’ was a delight. The savoury sandwiches and the sweet bakes were delicious! Presentation was very appealing and service was very cordial. We highly recommend ‘Sweet Little Things’.

Tea cups were tea stained. It is possible to remove as I do so at home. Table booked for 3.30pm. We only received drinks, pot of tea and apple and orange juice at 3.50pm, was gone 4pm before food arrived. We also ordered jug of water which never arrived. Food was good, generous portions but cleanliness and poor service let down. Sandwiches were chilled/cold .

Food was very yummy, and they accommodated our dietary requirements. The decor was adorable. The tables were a bit small, we were 3 seated at a table better suited for 2, so it was a little squishy. The servers seemed a bit overwhelmed and preoccupied with other tables. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

Great food, delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes, wonderful service: Emilia, Maria were great!! We were a party of 9 celebrating a hen do and we were taken such a great care of! Would come back again and recommend this place.

Booked for a special birthday with 4 friends. On arrival we were seated in a full dining area on the first floor. Decor was lovely, but with it being a small, full room including a hen party the atmosphere was lively and loud and at times hard to hear people talking. Staff were polite but visibly stretched and they were overly apologetic before the experience had even begun, which made us expect a delayed and chaotic service. Service was slow and tables were observed having to chase staff for spoons, cream, drinks etc. initially only one pot of cream between 4 because they had run out of pots but when asked they did find some more and brang two extra pots. Food was very good and with a gluten free member of the party, the food and quality exceeded her expectations. She said it was the best gluten free scone she had, had. The booking gives you a 90 minute slot on your table, but with some delays to food, drinks this seemed to go incredibly fast and before even finishing we were given the bill and told we only had 10 minutes remaining. The bill had deducted the cost of 4 prosecco's and the service charge. When queried we were told this was to reflect any poor experiences with service which I felt was a very nice touch. Overall food was good. Service was slow but staff were friendly and apologetic. We did feel rushed though given the 90 min maximum time, which I do understand given how busy they must be, but it does effect experience and left feeling uncomfortably full due to rushing 😅 Overall though we had an enjoyable time and id definitely pop in next time I'm in bath to get some takeaway treats as choux buns and cupcakes looked amazing.
