Sweet Auburn BBQ is located in the historic Poncey-Highland neighborhood, near the Fox Theatre, Ponce City Market, and Fernbank Museum. The well designed dining space features reclaimed antiques and custom lighting, making it the ideal place for a dinner date or business lunch. Their sidewalk patio is a dog friendly too.

Sweet Auburn Barbecue offers traditional style barbecue with an Asian twist. Chef Cam Floyd's menu items, such as Pimento cheese wontons, Gulf Coast Shrimp & Grits and Smoked Brisket Eggrolls, demonstrate the perfect marriage of traditional and innovative styles that Sweet Auburn Barbecue has become known for. This is our first visit to Sweet Auburn BBQ. The cuisine is a delightful blend of traditional BBQ preparation and Asian cooking techniques. The baby back ribs, pulled pork and smoked brisket were juicy, succulent and delicious. The Bulgogi salad and Char Siu style ribs were superb. We will return and bring friends.

We loved sweet Auburn. The brussels sprouts were the best my wife ever had. The fried rice and brisket dish was out of this world. The ribs were tender and delicious. We live out of town, but would love to come back to this wonderful restaurant. The staff was great. We cannot say enough good things about sweet Auburn barbecue.

We were in town for a work and desperately wanted BBQ. We found Sweet Auburn in the area of another place we wanted to go. It was the best dinner we had all trip. All the meats were delicious and juicy. The two meat plate was plenty of food! They were also happy to accommodate my gluten allergy (I just opted for no Texas Toast). I was bummed to miss the cornbread but otherwise it was a perfect evening.

I love Sweet Auburn. Food and service are always exceptional, and their drink list is solid. They ran out of an item we ordered, which we were warned could be a possibility (our server was great and told us they might be close to out of the Char Siu ribs, and someone ordered the last rack while we were ordering), and the chef sent out a delicious simple amuse bouche. We got the Omakase and everything was delicious. The meat was also still amazing reheated the next day for lunch. While they weren't super busy, I still recommend making a reservation just in case. We will definitely be back.
