Great place for afternoon tea. Lovely setting and decor. Friendly staff. And you can get there via the river.

Took my 12 year old to afternoon tea. It was delightful with beautiful views and excellent service.

I thought staff were good but service very slow However - we paid £3.50 for the tiniest gluten free roll l had ever seen and only 1 ! I thought the prices had doubled since we last came. My cod had been salted far too much The salt and pepper was brought to our table at the end of our meal ! So in conclusion we doubt if we would return.

We had a number of last minute drop outs which meant the room felt a little large for our group but still a lovely evening. Great menu selection but service was slow on this occasion

A little pricey but good quality food, all well cooked and flavoursome. Waitress was very helpful and showed care

Overall perfectly fine ! Staff clearly wanted to close up as we had plates taken nearly ( twice) before we had finished to eat! No break between courses so felt rushed

Service was really good, the kitchen closes at 7pm on Sunday so just be aware. The food is ok, we went for roast and it was decent for the location.
