It is always a pleasure to bring my visitors to DC here. They have proven that an African Restaurant can be upscale with good food and beautiful people. I have never been disappointed in the food or customer service. Everyone always want to go back and I will continue to support their business.

Our server, Timmy, was exceptionally gracious, and the host displayed warmth and attentiveness both before and after we were seated. The venue was immaculate and inviting, with decor that was nothing short of stunning. The ambiance made us feel right at home. From the flavorful chicken wings to the perfectly cooked salmon, every dish was outstanding, and my mojito was expertly crafted. This was my first visit to this establishment, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you for the remarkable service!

I always frequent Swahili Village when I get a chance. This time, I decided to have a small gathering for my monthly visit with my sorority sisters. I sent them the menu (in advanced) so that can decide what they would like. We selected a date during the week because we know how the restaurant be "jumping" on the weekend. Our service rep was Brian and he was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! He made sure our drinks were great, he explained every question that we had that was on the menu. Brian even gave us suggestions from the small plate menu that I know for sure I will purchase when I come back and visit. This was the first time visiting for my sorority sisters visit, and I know it will not be the last. Thanks again Swahili Village for the great birthday dinner as I kickoff the celebration of my 50th birthday!!!

My nephew and I had a very nice evening. The food was good and the drinks were tasty. Our server Pherb (spelling?) was outstanding.
