Formerly in Queens, our restaurant created a space for people to eat, drink, celebrate, and experience Eastern European cuisine. Now in the West Village, we aim to bring our community together for a meal that makes you feel at home. Sveta is new, but also homey and modern. Walk in for a beer or a quick bite, or bring a party of 60 and dance until midnight.

Family style European/Ukrainian cuisine with a Portuguese influence. Join us to celebrate, love life and family.

On weekends groups of more than 7 its a minimum of $60 per person. Come & Stop By to be parry of the Sveta Family

Sveta is a beautiful restaurant! The food and customer service was excellent! I made a reservation and was seated right away. The drinks were delicious and the presentation was on point! I went there for my birthday dinner and I am definitely going back for that coconut shrimp!

The owners of this restaurant were very personable and caring. We had to wait a little while so we received free glass of champagne. We had to move our table later on in the evening. We received a free drink. They kept coming up to us. They really care about their patrons, cute atmosphere.

Fabulous overall. The female owner was the only thing that stuck out as sub par. I knew it was the owner from her photo on the website. She was just very impersonal, no smile or attempt at cordiality. She made us uncomfortable when we could not understand what she was saying when she brought something over to the table. I had to ask her to repeat herself about 4 times before she finally pointed at the menu to show me what she was saying. I felt horrible that I couldn’t understand her and she did nothing to alleviate my obvious discomfort. If you own a restaurant you need to schmooze with your customers, smile, make them feel welcome. Let them know how much you appreciate them being there. Everything else was amazing…food, ambience, over the top drinks. The other servers were nice.

Great date spot, you can actually have a conversation without the loud music. The space is a bit small so you will be very close to other guests

We had a blast at this spot. The only down side is the price of the cocktails that are all around 25$ a cocktail. Don't get me wrong they are good and very unique designs cocktails. But still extremely pricing. Other than that absolutely no complaints. The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was amazing. And the service was great. The restaurant is beautiful. Definitely a nice spot in the West Village.

I love the ambiance and the quality food Sveta has to offer. It’s always a go to place to eat when I’m visiting the city and love to bring friends along with me. This visit I brought my friend that has to be careful what she eats like no soy, gluten, dairy. I had her check out the menu before going. She had fun, loved the decor, and loved that she could have a delicious steak & over easy egg with home fries for brunch.

Sveta is a pretty aesthetic pleasing spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. The chicken tenders, waffles bacon was good the fries were okay. The food was fresh and warm. The pretty lady drink was good and so cute. Place clean. Staff attentive and polite. Even the restroom was decorated.
