Formerly in Queens, our restaurant created a space for people to eat, drink, celebrate, and experience Eastern European cuisine. Now in the West Village, we aim to bring our community together for a meal that makes you feel at home. Sveta is new, but also homey and modern. Walk in for a beer or a quick bite, or bring a party of 60 and dance until midnight.

Family style European/Ukrainian cuisine with a Portuguese influence. Join us to celebrate, love life and family.

On weekends groups of more than 7 its a minimum of $60 per person. Come & Stop By to be parry of the Sveta Family

                                                                  This is one of the best places for great food and drinks. Fun crowd very unique and homely atmosphere and unbelievable and impeccable service. Thank you Alan for welcoming us so warmly and taking great care of our party and a big thank you to Kate who offered the highest possible quality of service. Despite the restaurant being packed to the limit we did not have a single minute of extra waiting. The drinks were delicious and gorgeous, the prices are reasonable the food is great and its in a wonderful location!

                                                                  If i can give this resturant 0 stars i would, the worst experience ever. Food was disgusting and smelled horrible, place is also very small.

                                                                  Complete mess started at the door. Nobody took care of guests and some people were waiting for more than 40 min of their reservation. Even though open table had open slots to book, the place was overcrowded which means they don’t care about reservation system. The place was loud and nothing like family owned restaurant as it was presented on the website

                                                                  Nous avions une réservation à 20:30 pour 10 personnes. Nous avons réussi à être assi à 21:40, avec bcp de pression sur le proprio. On nous a chargé des frais de transaction sans nous avertir. Pour "s'excuser" pour l'attente on nous a donné 2 bouteilles de mousseux cheap et chaude. La bière était chaude et sur un choix de 4 bouteilles de vin blanc une n'était pas disponible... La nourriture était bonne par contre... Une chance parce que le reste était très décevant.

                                                                  I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes after my reservation time to be sat. But the overall experience was nice, they gave us free champagne and dessert to make up for the long wait.

                                                                  Very pretty place, but very small. They only have one bathroom. The bathroom line is always long. Reservations don’t make a difference. Very little seating and they accept walk ins if there is a table ready. Made a reservation and showed up on time. Waited about an hour to be seated and kept saying 5 more minutes. The food and drinks were good though
