Located at the famed Opera Terrace atop the historic Grade II-listed Market Building, this striking space is a vibrant new addition to the area. Crowned by an Eric Parry-designed glass roof, the restaurant runs along the entire east side of the market making for beautiful rooftop views across the piazza.

Bold in design, SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden offers a host of inviting dining and drinking experiences: from the bar with its ‘living ceiling’; the exposed kitchen to the terrace overlooking the square below and the private dining room with its own entrance and terrace.

Food was alright…some rolls were good but overall the food was nothing special….service was beyond terrible….drink orders were forgotten and needed to be reminded twice…. received the wrong drink orders and they got it right the fourth time….bartender was struggling and you could see most cocktail pours were no where full strength….waiter never tried to help keep us updated….manager removed the optional service charge but almost argued rather than admit that the bartender was getting it wrong…..bad nights happen but no member of the serving staff from bartender to waiter to manager ever tried to turn it around

Excellent location in Covent Garden, especially very well illuminated and spacious. Food was fantastic.

We didn't know what to expect but the Opentable promotion looked positive. We were very pleasantly surprised at the venue and were amazed by the quality and variety of the food. Very different to what we expected. Overall a very pleasant experience and is sure to become a regular Well done SUSHISAMBA.

Food was great but the service was really poor. The waiting staff were really friendly so no personal issue but we had to constantly ask for service. We were only having the 3 course Price Fixe lunch so it’s unbelievable that we were in the restaurant for nearly 2 and a half hours.

Lovely decor but not much ambience. We had a set menu. The portion size of the main course was very small so we had to order off the a la carte menu too. I didn’t feel it was good value for money. Great for drinks and nibbles.

Lovely food, though drinks too an age to get there. Had to ask every time for things and they were’t especially helpful when we asked about advice on ordering

The food is decent but the service leaves a lot to be desired. With a few exceptions, the staff were generally disinterested, and on occasions sarcastic. I won’t be coming back, and will be sure to avoid it when recommending restaurants to friends visiting London.

Enjoyable lunch and good service, however table wasn’t that good, despite restaurant not that busy. Food is nice but in my opinion overpriced for what it is.
