Ordered the premium hand roll omakase. Buckle up cuz it’s a lot of food! The quality was great. They do ask you how you handle wasabi and I remember a couple had my nose on fire but if you know wasabi, it goes quick so wasn’t an issue. You can always say none or light on the wasabi. The chef is very attentive to where you’re at with the meal as well as with your party. I was with 2 others and we were deep in convo but the chef matched our pace which was so kind - never felt rushed, always felt like we were being taken care of. Recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good handroll. In general handrolls have more rice than fish so it’s a tad different than a sushi omakase - meaning don’t expect a 1:1 experience but it has its own uniqueness. If I’m back in nyc, I’ll def hit this spot again.

We were pleasantly surprised that we had 4 more hand rolls waiting for us! The omakase hand rolls menu was fantastic! Definitely recommended! And the staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful.

I loved everything. Super fresh and tasty, I didn’t like the wasabi in my handroll too much but wow love this place.

We love coming to Sushiro. Kevin san and all his crews are so professional and friendly! I’m so happy to see this place so packed now, but they’re still so nice to us. We will keep coming here at least twice a month! I think the quality, price and service over all it’s the best handroll bar in NYC!
