Welcome to Sushi Passion, the home of sushi in Birmingham. From humble beginnings in Birmingham’s market we’ve been in The Great Western Arcade since 2014 offering a truly traditional Japanese sushi bar experience, recognised by the All Japan Sushi Association for Authenticity.

If you arrive later than 15 minutes for your booking, without letting us know, your table may be given to another party.

When booking a table, please be aware that half of our restaurant consists of Traditional Japanese tatami seating on to which you might be assigned if you don't specify seating preference.

Great food. There does need to be some more soft drink options. It was fizzy drinks or water which was really limiting. It would have been great to know what we were eating. The manageress was great and really knew her stuff, but this wasn’t the case for our server who named items incorrectly leading to some confusion. Would definitely recommend and come back though. The

Food was amazing, sat on the floor to get a full unique experience, staff were lovely, atmosphere was great. Will definitely go back again!

This is the best place to ever have sushi, the staff treats you with respect and make you feel so good and special, nice cocktails and dishes. Really had a great night out with my date. Definitely gonna come back.

Service is always good the staff are pleasant, the atmosphere is lovely despite being a small restaurant it’s always a chill and calm place! Last but not least the food is excellent quality, it’s a proper sushi restaurant with a good variety to try from. Highly recommend.

Minor hiccup on arrival, as we were booked onto a table for an authentic dining experience. Unfortunately this would not be suitable for myself, Sitting on the floor is not an experience my bones could handle these days. BUT the staff recognised this before I needed to say anything and apologized for the delay while they sorted us a suitable table. They also explained that there is an option when booking to have a standard table and not a floor table, which I totally missed. so the loss of 1 star was based on this booking mishap to do more with opentable than Sushi Passion. The rest of the evening was just shy of excellent from the friendliness & service from the staff to the food quality and presentation. The only stumble was our drinks order, we asked for a warm saki but got a cold one, but this was changed as soon as we pointed it out to them. You just need to try it, this is the best Sushi I have tried in Brum.

The experiance was amazing and we had our anniversary there and it was just lovely staff were amazing food was fantastic as always highly recommend to anyone who loves sushi deffinetly be back.
