Welcome to Sushi Passion, the home of sushi in Birmingham. From humble beginnings in Birmingham’s market we’ve been in The Great Western Arcade since 2014 offering a truly traditional Japanese sushi bar experience, recognised by the All Japan Sushi Association for Authenticity.

15 MINUTE POLICY
If you arrive later than 15 minutes for your booking, without letting us know, your table may be given to another party.

When booking a table, please be aware that half of our restaurant consists of Traditional Japanese tatami seating on to which you might be assigned if you don't specify seating preference.

Disappointing. Waitress got one of our dishes wrong by mixing up with an item with the same name but we physically showed her the one we had ordered-eventually they took it and redid pretty quickly. Then had a dish missing so after we’d finished eating we asked if it was still yet to come, to be told by staff it had already come… no it didn’t, why else would I ask? Had a few funny looks from the tall lad delivering dishes to tables as if I’m gonna lie about it? - not appreciated! The dish was ready suspiciously fast once we asked.. Sushi is great but the restaurant is packed full like a sardine can. Not impressed by the waiting staff especially for the price- at £180 for 4 people I’d expect far better service.

Lovely good at reasonable prices. Service a little hit and miss but overall a good place to eat.

This is hands down the best sushi spot I’ve visited in Birmingham! The staff were fantastic, the atmosphere and decor were beautifully calming, and the food was absolutely incredible—easily a 10/10. Honestly, the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had!

Enjoyed the food as always. geisha selection is an ideal introduction to someone not familiar with sushi. Tempura prawns and miso soup starters were great.

We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday. Food was amazing and service was excellent. The kids enjoyed themselves and we had a catch up with friends. A lovely experience and a beautiful memory for us to have. Thank you to all those at Sushi Passion.

I have been many times to a Shushi passion and have never been disappointed. They were accommodating with the ask to seat 13 people and the food was amazing. I will be returning as its one of the best sushi restaurants inBiirmingham.
