We were seated timely and eventually the service improved throughout the night. Apparently their drink menu has changed from what is online so they didn’t have what we wanted nor offered to make it or suggest an alternative. The bar service was extremely slow. Initially, the server didn’t seem too familiar with the menu options and a little short but her friendliness improved later. The sushi is subpar in my opinion and does not align with most of the online reviews. Most rolls are spicy or have some sort of tempura.

Our experience was nothing short of excellent. We felt spoiled which our son really enjoyed since it was his 13th birthday weekend.

We had the volcano specialty sushi roll. It was good - dome in a flaming tray. Also had the spicy bomb - not very spicy at all. The Edmame spicy version is quite spicy. The shishito peppers are quite ordinary.

Hidden gem. Upscale and fresh sushi in nice environs at a strip mall price. Great place to go for lunch on a weekend. Highly recommend!

Very average. Won’t return. We love sitting at the bar to watch them prepare and interact but not fun or friendly staff. Non-Asian ‘chefs’ behind the counter making the sushi. Just not authentic.
