Welcome to Okeya Kyujiro Our Omakase Experience is a chef’s choice menu consisting of seasonal ingredients mainly sourced from Japan. It includes approximately 25 courses with mostly sushi.
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
Please let us know before taking a reservation any allergies or food restrictions to know if we can possibly accommodate your needs. We do not accept outsiders food or alcohol in our establishment. We do not have a kid’s menu.
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservation must be cancelled 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel by this time will result in a cancellation fee. Parties of 5+ full will be required to pay the full price in advance plus 20% service fee. A valid credit card is required to make the reservation. This theatrical experience was wonderful! From the service to watching the physical poetry of the culinary skills to the small perfectly executed bites we so delicately adorned our mouths. This is a very expensive experience for us but it is a once in a lifetime must for anyone who admires the mastery of what chefs can create from food to look amazing and taste so good that it’s a dream!

Amazing chefs prepare food right in front of you for 2 hours. 25 small plates that are fresh and delightful. Was like chewing and performance art happening right in front of your eyes. It was my 60th Birthday and it was a real treat. Thank-you for a great Supper!

The fish was fresh But portions were minuscule. I don’t like how they parade fish, eel and a melon. But then serve you other fish. I know the items we see, isn’t what is served. It was just the wife and I. We had no alcohol and with tip and tax, we were at $900. I just don’t see a reason to return.

I always enjoy the food, the service, and being able to watch all the cooks in action! The restaurant made sure they substituted other food items for me due to my crustacean allergies, and the substitution were as good as the food served to other guests! This is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver!

This was my 2nd time coming here for dinner, almost a year ago since the 1st visit. Had a friend from Tokyo visiting so we took him here. The experience was roughly 25 courses with a good explanation of each dish and you can watch them prepare the dishes in front of you. A mix of nigiri, cooked food, soup and even a ramen. Food was fresh, chefs were interactive and we all had an amazing time. Even our friend from Tokyo said he was impressed and something you would expect from top omakase's in Tokyo.
