Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. The centerpiece of our first dining room is our 8-seat, 200-year-old hinoki wood sushi bar and traditional ice chest, where Chef Noz refrigerates the evening's neta selections. Our second dining room features a sushi bar made from tamo ash wood, which accommodates an additional 6 guests. We welcome our guests in true Japanese hospitality, offering two nightly seatings at each counter.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Le célèbre chef Nozomu Abe dirige cet établissement apaisant aux deux étoiles Michelin qui est sans doute l'un des meilleurs restaurants de sushis de la ville. Asseyez-vous à l'un des deux comptoirs intimistes en bois pour savourer un menu dégustation de saison de type Edomae qui peut compter jusqu'à 20 plats, notamment le bar grillé à la sauce d'algues bleues. Les murs en bois de cèdre délicats et les plats servis dans de la céramique japonaise vieille de plusieurs siècles font de chaque repas une expérience unique et envoûtante.

PLEASE NOTE: seatings with Chef Noz take place Monday-Friday at 6:00pm and 9:00pm only. Abe-san will be away on March 3, 27, and 28. At the 5:45pm and 8:45pm seatings, the same menu is served by another one of our talented chefs. **Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate no shellfish, kosher, gluten-free, soy-free, vegetarian, or rice-free menus. Please be sure to communicate all dietary restrictions with our team.** A non-refundable deposit of $100/person is required upon booking. This deposit will be applied to your final bill at the end of dinner.

Truly a luxirious and unique omakase experience in Sushi Noz. I can say it was on of the best omakases that I had in my life and watch the skill of Noz and his fellow staff members was a sight to behold. Everything that I tried was fresh and delicious.

Sushi Noz is incredible. One of the most amazing experiences I have had in NYC. It was my birthday and they added extra little touches to make it special for me. The food is divine, the vibes are immaculate and the service is unmatched. Highly, highly recommend! This restaurant should be on everyone's list.
