Sushi Kashiba is Seattle's destination for Japanese fine dining at its highest level. Located right next to historic Pike Place Market. Take a coveted seat at the Omakase sushi bar, where you just might find multi-James Beard Award nominated Chef Shiro Kashiba hard at work.

Ordering one of Sushi Kashiba's chef curated sushi dinners is probably your best bet. The cuts of salmon, toro, tuna, yellowtail and other fish are always fresh and beautifully presented. The meal is finished off with Sushi Kashiba's trademark cake-like egg dessert. The restaurant also features à la carte items like agedashi tofu, oysters on the half shell and Chef Kashiba's New York Times featured black cod kasuzuke.

Chef's Counter Omakase Experience Please note: Omakase Experience is Chef ’s choice. A la carte menu is not available at Chef ’s Counter. Seating is for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Special sushi requests or repeats may be made via additions. Please kindly indicate any allergies at the time of booking. We can accommodate up to one allergy per guest. We are unable to accommodate diners with specific dietary restrictions such as vegetarian diets, celiac disease, and alcohol allergies at the Chef's Counter. We take all necessary precautions to minimize the risk of cross-contamination; however, we cannot guarantee its complete absence, especially for individuals with severe allergies.

This place is incredible - everyone must go! Every single member of the staff who I passed upon entry welcomed me in warmly. I was a little early for my reservation and enjoyed a drink at the bar with the super kind and knowledgeable bartender. Someone came and got me when it was time for the omakase experience, moved me to my place setting at the quaint counter seamlessly, carrying my beverage for me. I inquired about tip as I did not want the bartender to miss out and was informed they operate with a tip pool. I was solo and was seated next to another solo diner and we had wonderful conversation and got to enjoy the experience together. The chefs were so kind and talented, each bite was incredible and made with such high quality ingredients. As a former fine dining server and restaurant manager I was in love and blown away by the service. I could tell everyone who took care of me was happy to be there, and that means a lot when you shell out for this kind of thing. It felt warm and luxurious the entire time. My plate and place setting were crumbed/wiped down as necessary, every item was described in detail, I could go on and on. I am SO happy I found this place and had this experience. THANK YOU!!!

Sushi Kashiba was absolutely phenomenal. We did the Omakase style dining and it was incredible; every single course was perfection and even though it was an expensive meal, it was well worth it!

Best sushi you can have and really amazing staff that are passionate about each item on the menu and honest with their recommendations! They ask intelligent questions to understand the customer preferences and their sushi eating background. Make sure you ask them about seasonal items not on the Menu as well! Definitely do not skip the Tamago it is out of this world and completely not the typical Tamago you would expect, it is actually their dessert sushi they have.

Best omakase I’ve had in my life. Had the pleasure of being served by Chef Shiro Kashiba himself. This is the sort of experience that can easily be deemed priceless.

The service was outstanding, but the food was overpriced and somewhat lacking in depth of flavor. I don’t believe it was a good value.

Spectacular service and food, omakase for two. Also a deliciously light sake cocktail to start and yummy sancerre to complement our seven courses. An indulgence to remember.
