Signifying happiness and luck, the number eight defines our wishes for our customers and our community. We are also conveniently located on 8th street, so you’ll never forget where we are. Our owner, chef, and restaurateur Steve Yoon took over Sushi Rock in Arlington, VA with the drive to bring the incredible flavor and quality of fish he had in Asia to the community. Amazing vibes and atmosphere. Our server was incredibly attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and aesthetically pleasing to the eye and palette.

Having spent over 15 years in Japan, I always miss good Japanese food. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality at Sushi Hachi, and at moderate prices. The owner was very friendly as well and has a high work ethic.

Loved the sushi. Felt very authentic to places I’ve visited in Japan. Excellent quality fish and tuna. Will absolutely go here again

Fish was not fresh with salmon and yellow tail was very fishy and unenjoyable. Service was not the best. The tempura vegetables were excellent but considering the cost of the meal we did enjoy it. In fact we ended up going to another restaurant right after to end the night on a better note.

Charming, eclectic small venue. Patio was lovely. Very nice staff. Food was good, service a little slow, but I would go back.
