Sushi Enya is a Japanese sushi restaurant that first opened in the heart of Little Tokyo in Downtown, LA. After five years of perseverance and experimentation in Downtown, LA, we opened our second location in beautiful Old Town Pasadena.
Our third location, which opened in 2018, is located in the beach city of Marina Del Rey.

Our owner Chef Kimiyasu Enya trained for over 10 years in Japan to perfect his craft.

It is our goal to ensure that quality remains consistent and every experience is enjoyable for all guests.

Our favorite place- consistent, clean, friendly service. Parking situation is horrendous. Nevertheless, we come here every time we’re in town.

it was my second time at Sushi Enya and it was a most enjoyable experience. I went @ 6pm, 16m minutes earlier than the reservation I booked. We were quickly seated and served by an attentive staff. The sushi was incredible, very fresh. I don't drink but my dinner companion told me they make a mean Old Fashion.

The sushi was great, served pretty fast so we will stagger our order next time. No complaints otherwise. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The cut rolls are huge - plan accordingly.

The omakase experience is worth it, every bite was mouth watering. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Always love Enya, and the MDR location has the perfect low-key, relaxed but nice vibe for a date night or a special dinner. The chef's at the omakase bar always remember repeat customers and the whole staff os supper-friendly and attentive. The omakase is a great value with a very filling menu of classics and some Enya specials with top-tier ingredients like truffle, wagyu, caviar, uni, etc. We'll be back soon!

This has been our best Omakase experience to date. About an hour before our reservation, we received a call from the restaurant to verify if there were any allergies they needed to be aware of. They also asked if there was anything we absolutely did not want as part of the experience. Once there, we were welcomed by a friendly staff and seated at the bar with the chef Tai. He confirmed about the allergies and preferences. Super thorough!Watching him work was like an artist creating sushi masterpieces. Everything was made with precision and care and were presented so beautifully. Each dish tasted better than the one before. He even convinced us to try the mackerel (which is not a favorite of ours) and it did not disappoint. I mean…some of the pieces just melted in our mouths. Not only were the dishes delicious, Tai was super informative. We almost received sushi education while we were eating. It made the experience even better! And no need for soy sauce or wasabi because Tai takes care of all of that. The ambience of the restaurant was good. But we were enjoying the food and experience so much that we didn’t notice the rest of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and really attentive. We never had to ask for refills on our drinks because they just showed up. This is definitely a place we want to come back to!

Hostia was an artist. Watching him prepare our fabulous (fixed menu) meal justified the cost before ever tasting the incredible sushi he prepared. The Swordfish belly was melt-in-your-mouth wonderful! 42 years of eating sushi, and nothing, even in Tokyo, was ever as good. Presentation was superb. The food was better!!
