At first I was hesitate because my husband is not a big fan of sushi but I am. I have read many review and compare prices to other restaurant and feel like this place might provide a good value omakase. When we arrive, it’s very mysterious vibe checking in to the suite. We were early so I waited in the balcony which is nice but not an ideal in the winter. The food was AMAZING! Some pieces just (literary) melt in my mouth. The fish quality was excellent. We enjoy every single bite.

We had the BEST sushi we’ve ever had. The chef was amazing , and the other two ladies were great. We highly recommend 1001 at Hotel 32 | 32 NYC.

The sushi was fresh and delicious! Nice presentation as well. However, best not to go here hungry. For the price, I expected a bit more food. The drinks were excellent too!

Definitely will come back. See if you can get Ryan. He is a fantastic chef and his personality makes the experience that much better. I have eaten a lot of sushi in my life thus far across the US and Asia and yet he was still able to surprise me with fish and flavors I haven't experienced before.

Tate and Ryan (our chef) were fabulous! We had an amazing experience and great time. Probably the best sushi’s and fresh sea food we ever experienced. Totally worth it! And Tate’s cocktails are amazing. We will be back

This was a completely unique dining experience. The restaurant seats four but we were the only two people there. The sushi chef explained each course to us as we watched him prepare and serve. The sushi was in a class of its own, better than any sushi I've had anywhere - and eaten it all over North America. Never been to Japan. The experience - sitting at the sushi bar with no other patrons in a small hotel room is unique. Be prepared for that, and you'll have a great dining experience

The whole experience was really fun with Chef Ryan and his team! The food was great, the intimate experience felt special. I'd go back for a special occasion for sure.
