We have been coming here since it opened, and the food and service are consistently good - it's a restaurant that's easy to enjoy (and I say that as someone who can't eat seafood).

Excellent food, service and ambiance! The sushi as well as the kitchen dinners are excellent. Very friendly staff, hostesses and wait staff.

I will never go back her. The server was so rude! The cocktails are horrible! I had a pineapple margarita that was so sweet and was not drinkable. I asked for soda water to dilute it and the server brought me a large cup that was filled 1/4 inch with soda water and that’s it! Our party started laughing because we thought it was a joke. I then asked for more after I used the sip she brought and she brought the same amount! We got asparagus beef roll and it was rock hard and inedible! Disgusting! We ordered a $30 steak that was chewy dog meat! Lastly, we asked to turn the patio heaters on and our server said they don’t work. We had a feeling she was lying so we got up and tried them ourselves and sure enough they worked! Horrible service and way better sushi places in HP!

im so sorry hearing your experinced . first of all it would be much better if you could try to talk to our manager about it so we can re make your order or put discount on your bill.. we never make anything inedible and we do have our pride for our sushi and kitchen food. we carry good quaility of sirloin steak and you mention it's like a "chewy Dog meat" i wish you could make steak Mid or Mid rare not well done. if you don't want your steak too hard to chew. if there is anything we can do please contact our resturant and thank you very much.

Wow! Our first visit - and an unmitigated sucess except for one minor flaw, not the fault of the restaurant. Immaculate, charming room, with its traditional minimalism relieved by a plethora of life-like artificial cherry blossoms. Welcoming staff gave us friendly, attentive service from Joy, our delightful server, to the hard-working bussers, despite a busy night with multiple tables of diners. Interesting cocktails, highlighted by the special Espresso Martini. Next time we'll try some of the sake or whiskey selections. We sampled appetizers: Both the bluefin carpaccio and the fork tender calamari batayaki. Standard miso soup and house salad accompanying the kitchen entree were fresh and delicious. We love nigiri, and Chef Moon does not disappoint. The rice was perfect, and all 10 types of fish were very fresh and cut perfectly, with thoughtful garnishes that enhanced the flavors of the sea. The only disappointment was the behavior of our fellow diners, including two VERY LOUD men, whose conversations we heard in too much detail and two unruly children whose pblivious parents permitted them to run around the dining room and poke the wall decorations with their chopsticks. When those people left and the room reverted to a quieter ambiance, we greatly enjoyed the experience. We'll be back, and, fingers crossed, those others will choose a different night to dine.
