I came from Detroit and was looking forward to my birthday dinner. Was disappointed overall. Food was bland I had the short rib which is my favorite meal as I make it often for my family. The sauce had no spark was just bland. Lisa could use my taste buds for her kitchen for sure.

Every person that works there is amazing. I’ve felt uplifted with kindness and sweet compliments. The food and cocktails are fantastic. The ambiance is something you really can’t find somewhere else. I won’t ever forget my visit!

Definitely great ambience and our server Hannah was great! fried cheese balls were amazing, however, grilled brocoolini was mostly charred and salad had bit much of dressing. Ambience was great walking in and where we were seated! the restroom area needs to much work, it's between kitchen door and backdoor with staff buzzling and two almost ran into me getting out of. Had to wait a bit for valet who seemed very busy both coming in and getting out.

During an LA layover, I had to check out the hype. The goat's cheese balls lived up to its reputation. Completely yum - I inhaled the plate all by myself. The salmon was underseasoned though. I noticed a lot of people of (all) color staff who were so hospitable. They truly welcomed you in an authentic way and without the pretentiousness you'd expect of this type of establishment. It got me thinking about representation on the Bravo show that put this restaurant on the map. The staff I experienced on a casual Saturday afternoon had so many cool stories to boot. But the diversity sadly, doesn't make it on the show and that's a damn shame. The real heroes of this restaurant are don't make it to the show, and I wish they would. SUR is an example of a workplace reality show but the producers choose to focus on an already privileged class, boosting their privilege at the expense of the underrepresented. It shows up in the menu too. Goats cheese aside, the missed opportunity for more dining fusion was evident. As a solo traveler, I can't fault my experience. I felt welcomed, seen, and attended to. As an inclusion coach, I really hope that LVP and producers can save the current low ratings through a refurbishment of real staff stories, uplift the diversity in the cast and menu. I wish they would focus on some of the internal workplace issues which I have a strong feeling we can relate to, especially as business owners. Sure, we love the dramahh but when it's one dimensional the yawn is inevitable. A big shout out to the wonderful staff that made my day! And again, the best goat cheese balls I've ever had!!

Friendly staff, nice looking restaurant, good vibes, but horrible food. Some of the worst I’ve ever had. Drinks were also bad. Would definitely not go again.

Fantastic girls dinner out, drinks were delicious and service was great. We loved the vibe, was a really fun start to the night out while visiting from Chicago.

Buratta salad was excellent! Brussel sprouts were excellent. Vanderpump Merlot was excellent. Truffle pasta special and goat cheese balls were ok. Smoked crème brûlée presentation was fun but the taste was not very good. Wait staff was very attentive.

LOVELY for brunch! The burrata special was so refreshing and tasty on a hot day. The restaurant is a gorgeous brunch spot, VPR fan or not 🤣 we had to reschedule and staff was accomodating and super friendly. Nice music, great service, AWESOME cocktails, and delicious food. Cannot wait to go back next time we’re in LA

Surprisingly nice restaurant. Good food. Good drinks. Fun decor. Most patrons appear to be fans of the show. Overall a really nice experience.
