The restaurant was charming, and every staff member we encountered, but especially our server, we're extremely friendly. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the dessert. Very happy and will be returning soon!

My experience was very good honestly the waitress that helped us did a fantastic job of serving us and always checked in on us to see how we were doing and the food was honestly great for a first time going there I really enjoyed it would definitely recommend going there and going back there once again and then on the house special was a 10/10 .

The food was amazing, drinks were stellar and our server, Austin hit it out of the ballpark. His recommendations and attentiveness were unparalleled. It was our first visit to Sur and we'll definitely be back.

Sur's hospitality exceeds cordiality, generosity and comfort, enhancing the dining experience with authentic warmth, and personalized attention to detail. Sur has become our regular Friday night for over a year now. Aside from the red carpet treatment (which never grows old) the room is inviting, patrons and staff are diverse, unstuffy, respectful and fun-loving. Alex, Alpha, Austin, Johnnie, Mohamed, Rene (and others names still be learned) are so delightful that the trip would be worth it even if they only served triscuits and club soda. Lucky for us (and for you) that the menu features a bevy of delicious choices.

Love this place. Food and service were excellent! Hats off to Alex our server and whoever made the scallop risotto and seafood pasta. Wow!

Sur is the best restaurant experience in Carmel. Hospitality of the highest order - without pretense. The reason is the staff (*every one of them) It is an authentic and personal, not a transactional, experience. Everyone is attentive, interested and beyond accommodating. We are so spoiled by Austin, Alex, Johnnie (sp?), Mohammed, Rene, and the rest (names still be learned) . . . service at other restaurants just doesn't compare, unless of course being treated like royalty by real people doesn't matter to you.

Bon Bon ice cream display is worth the trip here if you have kids! This was very affordable. We also enjoyed the cocktails. Service was absolutely terrible. Our server was nowhere to be found majority of the time. Drinks took nearly 20 mins to come out although the restaurant barley had anyone there.
