Chef Ford Fry and Chef Kevin Maxey, together designed a “Mex-Tex” menu that plays to their own Texan roots, tracing the beginnings of the cuisine to the 1930s, when Mexican cooks first doctored up their dishes to suit a “Gringo” palate with Americanized elements, giving birth to the Tex-Mex dialogue. “Kevin and I wanted to do food we like to eat,” Fry said. “It’s natural for a chef to want to be true to a certain culture, and likewise, we wanted to do authentic Tex-Mex, because it developed where we’re from.

Let us start with the good: We had fajitas for 2 with chicken, steak and carnitas and it was delicious! Our server Tatiana was fantastic! The bad: I’ve noticed the last couple of times we’ve been there that the service bar is extremely slow! It take way too long to get drinks when you order them from the dining room. The ugly: I don’t know if it’s a staffing issue or what but some tables the entire time we were there never got bussed, I mean the table next to us never got cleaned and we were there a solid 45 minutes. All over the restaurant empty tables sat full of dirty dishes etc… It’s a horrible look!

The food was ok but the place was so loud that my friend and I had a hard time carrying on a conversation. Would not go back.

Superica has always been delicious and reasonably priced, with great vibes. Our service was exceptional with Victor (João) last night at the Strawberry Hill location; he was even kind enough to humor my parents with conversations about Brazil (his home country) since they had just gone there on a trip! Very attentive and kind soul.

Love the consistent food quality of the proteins in the fajita dish. Really wish the fixings increased with the amount of protein that is ordered without an additional charge.

What a great dining experience! My server Victor was always on top of it making sure I had everything I needed! Will be back!

This was our third visit and as always the food was delicious and the service was excellent! Our server MJ did a great job and was friendly and efficient. My son had the carne asada and it was a home run! Delicious and a good sized ribeye done to perfection, maybe the best steak in a mid casual restaurant in town. My wife had chicken tacos and was very happy. I had steak fajitas and they were delicious, but….. at 34.00 I should not have to pay another 5.00 for an additional fajita setup, for some lettuce,pico a dollop of sour cream and guacamole that seems unreasonable after paying that much for few ounces of meat. That unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth.
