Superica
– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

I have come to Superica many times. The food is wonderful and the prices are good. I try something different each time I go. I have tried all their tacos and they are all great. I especially like the brisket taco. This time I had enchiladas. I had the chicken with mole. The other is the beef taco, with rice and beans. All was wonderful as usual. Whenever I bring someone there they love it.

Poor quality drinks and overcharged for drinks. Bartenders do not know what they are doing. The server couldn’t figure how to handle drink orders either.

Tacos Al pastor were delicious. Guacamole never disappoints. Party member had the steak nachos and they were a perfect balance of steak, cheese and chip. Another party member had the Carne Guisada and raved about how tasty it was. Drinks were all quite tasty, including the Cadillac margarita.

Excellent service, food and drinks. If you like ginger, I highly recommend the ginger margarita.

We had an amazing experience. Glad we had reservations. The steak tacos are amazing. We had a great night.

This was our first visit here. We got there early because we thought traffic was going to be backed up with a political figure in town, but that was not the case, but they still seated us right away. We ordered some queso dip that had sou cream, beef and guacamole, it was very good. Then we ordered the tex-mex for two which came with beef, chicken, shrimp, sour cream, onions, cheese and refried beans. But, we were so full from the queso we only could eat a couple of bites. The service was very good, the food, fresh, hot and delicious. Give it try.

Took my family here for my wife's birthday. Had a reservation, but still had to wait a long time for the first available table. Emily at the host stand was rude and twice forgot that we were waiting, which with two little kids was not a good time. After we finally got seated, the food took about an hour to arrive. Food itself was average. Definitely not going back. There are much better Mexican restaurants in the area both in terms of food and service.

The food and drinks are both excellent! My brother recently moved here from Texas and we brought him to Superica a couple of weeks ago curious about his opinion. He loved the food, as well. We don't hesitate to recommend Superica.

Previous visits to Superica have been ok. However, this one missed the mark. The server was pleasant but absent. My chicken fajitas were overcooked and burnt. The accompanying beans weren't hot. To make matters worse, condensation from the AC unit dropped onto me. Maybe management could address that or take the booth out of service?

Waitress was nice, but the food isn’t the best, quesadilla is $25 and it’s just meat and cheese. Water served with no ice. Service was good but not enough to return
