Dina and Steve Samson are on the Westside with Superfine Playa - a California osteria serving light and bright Italian highlighting fresh, local produce and true California vibes. Located at Silicon Beach’s Runway Playa Vista, the duo will offer a full-service dining experience, opening with dinner and weekend brunch.
Superfine Playa features house-made pastas, wood-grilled meats and fish, and dishes highlighting seasonal produce. There is also a full-service bar with craft cocktails and a curated wine list, which focuses on family growers and winemakers. We are open daily for happy hour and dinner and brunch on weekends. Soon, we will also serve a hybrid NY and Neapolitan-style pizza made famous by Steve at Superfine Pizza in Downtown LA.

Join us for our next Wine Time! Thanksgiving Edition with Dina Samson. On Wednesday, November 6th at 6 pm, Dina will guide you through a selection of wines that pair beautifully with your holiday favorites—whether it’s turkey, stuffing, or pumpkin pie. Hopefully you can walk away with the perfect affordable wines to bring as host gifts or to serve at your own Thanksgiving dinner. We will be selling the wines we taste at retail prices. And as usual, for anyone who wants to stay after the tasting for dinner, we offer a 10% discount. Wine Time Wednesday tickets are $35 per person, plus service charge and sales tax. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

First time at Superfine and we’ll definitely be back! Had a very nice brunch - tasty food, friendly and welcoming service, pleasant atmosphere!

Great place love the food and especially the happy hour options. All of the staff so nice! My only suggestion would be to add a bottomless mimosa option or something a bit cheaper than a $65 flight. It's hard not to just go to Sol for the $18 version

One of my favorite items on the menu, the brick pressed chicken, has recently changed, and frankly, I love it just as much. Where it used to be served with a cauliflower mash. It’s now served with kale and white beans. Scrumptious!

I took my daughter and we had a really nice dinner. We started with the Caesar - it’s not a creamy Caesar dressing, more like a vinaigrette. It was tasty. My daughter ordered the vodka pasta with chicken and she loved it. Just a little bit is spice and great flavor. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It’s not paper thin but it’s not thick either. The pepperoni on it was delicious. It was a bit noisy because there were lots of kids as it is sort of a neighborhood spot. As it got later in the evening the kids left and it was quieter for sure. overall great food and service. Will go back.

Food is solid. Calamari is light and crispy, pasta with lamb and the Bolognese both savory and high quality. A few items are overpriced like the Baby Gem Salad at $18 for lettuce and parmesan, Foccacia bread at $8. The eggplant is a favorite dish and we actually tried to go for lunch, but they only service sandwiches, salads and pizza, so we came back for dinner. Despite the restaurant not being crowded, we didn't feel particularly attended to --having to wait and ask for set ups, oil & vinegar, the check, etc. Overall pricey but tasty.

The casarecce was cooked to perfection! The pizza salad was world class, and we couldn’t believe the size of the portion and tastiness of the brick pressed chicken. Service was terrific.

This was our second time at Superfine and we love having this neighborhood gem close by for when we're looking for the ultimate comfort food.! Steve Samson's food never disappoints and we love the blend of Italian and California flavors. The tuna tartare appetizer is amazing! And their pastas are cooked perfectly al dente. The service is always wonderful, too!

This was my 2nd visit and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. The food is absolutely delicious, and I love the slower pace at this restaurant that allows us to enjoy our time and not feel pressured to turn the table - like many other restaurants do. Thanks again for another great meal.
