Sunnys Chinese is inspired by high energy dining cultures found throughout China tied with the history of the space in Kensington Market - a place you discover with friends. From Shaokao spots in Chengdu and Xi’An to Dai Pai Dongs in Hong Kong, the team looks to regional traditions to create an experience that’s casual and playful. Diners can expect an extensive beverage list and ingredient-driven dishes.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Niché à l'intérieur du marché de Kensington, Sunnys est issu de l'établissement chinois haut de gamme MIMI. C'est un lieu décontracté et charmant, avec des carreaux rose pastel, des tables vert menthe et des porte-baguettes en forme de panda.                                                 Amazing food and service! Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable, as well as very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty! They had so many good suggestions for us based on our preferences (which they asked in advance!), so that was really amazing and i’m sure we ended up enjoying the food more because of this. Great experience overall, we’re very happy with it!

                                                Plus: Amazing service, amazing food, very accommodating! A little constructive feedback - We did wait a very very long time for the first dish to arrive, the server apologized but instead of offering to sell us two more cocktails to bide the time, an offer of a comp drink would have made more sense Next time I’m going to request a new table, both times I’ve been there I’ve been seated in the two top on the back edge, facing the service station and the coat hooks. I understand why it’s necessary for extra seating, but particularly if you’re facing the coat hooks, it’s the worst table in the house considering the prices. That aside, thank you for a lovely meal anyway and the service staff are all very nice.- looking forward to coming back

                                                Food is good, but not great. Staff super friendly. We didn't love the drinks (a bit too strong). Worth a visit

                                                This was our second visit to Sunnys. We were celebrating a birthday so decided to go for the Chef’s Tasting Menu. While everything was good we felt (for the price) there too many courses that were variations on “greens” ie cabbage etc. so were a bit disappointed. We will definitely go back as we still love it but would probably order from the regular menu. The staff as always is amazing. Love how into the food & how friendly they are.

                                                The food was fantastic, exactly what i expected or maybe even better! The charcoal black pepper lamb was one of the best dishes i have had in a very long time. The french toast was almost unbelievably good. I can't wait to go back to have both these dishes again.

                                                Love Sunny's Chinese! This was our third time there and the best so far. The cocktails are outstanding. The wine was great. The food terrific. And the space is all it's own.
