Sunnys Chinese is inspired by high energy dining cultures found throughout China tied with the history of the space in Kensington Market - a place you discover with friends. From Shaokao spots in Chengdu and Xi’An to Dai Pai Dongs in Hong Kong, the team looks to regional traditions to create an experience that’s casual and playful. Diners can expect an extensive beverage list and ingredient-driven dishes.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Niché à l'intérieur du marché de Kensington, Sunnys est issu de l'établissement chinois haut de gamme MIMI. C'est un lieu décontracté et charmant, avec des carreaux rose pastel, des tables vert menthe et des porte-baguettes en forme de panda.                                                 What a place! What a hidden gem! Fantastic vibes, great drinks, moderate food! But, totally worth a revisit.

                                                It’s a neighbourhood gem! Service was great starting from being welcomed and through the evening. Food was good and best of shared with a group; especially the Typhoon Shelter Squid, and the Silver Needle Noodle. Had very high hopes with the dessert but I found the HK French Toast a little too sweet (I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be). As for drinks, cocktails weren’t bad but personally not out of the world. Not the best value for money but we were there for an occasion. Surely was a pleasant visit (no complaints) and recommend giving it a try (at least once, eg for a special occasion).

                                                The food is consistently delicious and they were able to adapt dishes for food allergies and lifestyle. In addition, the people working at Sunny’s are attentive and so nice! Don’t miss out on a great place!

                                                Unbelievable dining experience. Every single item we got was the best in class I’ve ever tried. The ambiance was absolutely perfect, and all the employees were amazingly helpful with every question we had, and we had a lot of questions. Couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried.

                                                Great food! You would expect Toronto would have lots of fantastic Chinese food options downtown but the quality is generally poor. Sunny's is in a class of it's own.
