The Bermuda Chapter of the acclaimed New York cocktail bar is now open at Cambridge Beaches as a dockside tavern and tropical cocktail bar with a uniquely Bermudian dining experience created by Chef Keith DeShields celebrating "roots" cuisine. A diverse fusion of flavours with Caribbean and Portuguese influences, the menu is based on recipes passed down for generations and features truly Bermudian dishes including Bermuda shark hash, homemade callaloo pasta, and cedar smoked plantain stuffed wild boar loin.

The service was good. The food absolutely blew our expectations. Creative and delicious dishes. Noise and ambience were also good with the minor exception of a family letting their kids run around wild and taking out the servers.

Very inventive and delicious food. We had to wait a little bit for the bartender, but other than that, it’s was great.

Food was excellent and service was outstanding. We also enjoyed the live music that accompanied our dinner. We plan to return tomorrow night and settle in at the bar (which reminds me a little of some favorite old NYC haunts).

Had a fantastic dinner! Wonderful service and delicious food. Especially loved the citrus beet salad and the fresh catch. The chef came around greeting everyone which was cool!

We had dinner here on our first night in Bermuda. The food was really very good, although the composition of the dishes we chose seemed a bit odd. We waited 15 minutes before a drink order was taken, and it took an hour to get our entrees. The wait staff is friendly, but do not seem well versed in the menu. As an aside, we went by on 3 different occasions for drinks. The first time, the bartender was friendly and helpful, and we had some bar snacks that were quite good. Unfortunately, we were directed here for drinks when the pool bar, Pastel, was closed, and there was not a single staff member to be found. On the 3rd occasion, the person at the bar quickly announced “no cocktails tonight”. Once they were able to locate the correct menu (the cocktail menu shows the wines available by the glass, and they twice handed me the list of wine bottles available; we had to point out to them that it was sitting on the counter behind the bar), it was quick to receive drinks to take back to our room. Again, staff are friendly. The food is good. They have a great selection of drinks. So, I would say it’s worth a try. It just seems there is a lack of management, and service could certainly be improved upon.

Stayed at Cambridge Beaches resort and the Sunken Harbor club was our favorite restaurant to go to. Interesting and varied menu with flavor profiles that were amazing. Service was exceptional and the ambiance was a perfect fit wit hthe vibe of the resort.
