Chef Stacé of Sunflower Café is keeping the tastes of France in Bayport, serving authentic French Cuisine with fragrant and farm fresh ingredients. Enjoy an absolutely delicious selection of French classics like Moules Frites, Clams Casino, French Onion Soup, and our signature homemade Quiches. The Sunflower Cafe is a beautiful little restaurant located in the heart of Bayport. We were greeted by Chef Stace. The ambiance is very pleasant and quaint. The lighting was a little too bright for a romantic evening. The bread basket offered was delicious, but we were not informed there was a cost associated with it. Our escargot appetizer was outstanding. The two main courses were both excellent, (Fillet mignon and fillet of sole almandine) with the exception of my side of mashed potatoes, which was missing and came out lukewarm. The wine, a nice Bordeaux, was reasonably priced. The biggest disappointment was dessert. The Pavlova was missing the custard and was quite dry. Maybe an off night for the pastry chef being it was New Year’s eve. We may return again to try their brunch.

I have ben here a handful of time since its opening. It never disappoints. Casual, et upscale the menu has something for everyone. Daily specials and a Sunday Brunch makes this a win win.

Everything is just beyond amazing! So delicious that I dreamed about my meal - apps, dinner and dessert all night long. =)

This is our second visit and it surpassed our first one which was right after they opened. I highly recommend trying it. U won’t be disappointed

Thie restaurant is outstanding - choice of menu and preparation of food and service were all excellent - and the atmosphere was beautifully decorated and light.

It was our 1st time going for dinner. All the food was delicious, and we even were given a complimentary champagne because it was their 1 year anniversary. We were so happy with our choice.

We have been to this charming bistro a few times since it has opened. As the usual, it did not disappoint. Actual we went to partake in their first year anniversay celebration. Definnitely worth trying. Great ambriance and food.

We all had such a nice dining experience! The food was delicious, couldn’t be happier! Our waitress treated us as if we were in a 5 star restaurant! She was a joy! Definitely will be going back! Can’t wait actually!

Throughly enjoyed our dinner with dear friends. We appreciate the owner and her daughter/chef came over to chat with us after dinner. It is my second time dining at Sunflower and will be back and will well recommend! Fish done to perfection, Everything we had was outstanding..mussels with an amazing curry sauce, filet mignon, cod over lemon risotto, filet of sole, soups, oysters, pate..and a perfect wine selection. Bravo!
