Sunda New Asian is an award-winning restaurant at the vanguard of America’s New Asian movement showcasing Eastern Asian and Southeast Asian regional cuisine. Simple, flavorful dishes are served and shared while a full sushi bar provides an assortment of sushi, sashimi and nigiri options. By seamlessly melding many of the cooking techniques and flavors found throughout the entirety of Asia, Sunda creates a menu that allows customers to choose the dining experience they desire. Sunda’s extensive cross-cultural Asian menu spans many cultures and price points. Sunda also provides a progressive list of premium sakes, an assembly of Asian beers and a well-rounded list of champagnes, sparkling wines, white wines and red wines to complement the cuisine.

Enjoy the Tour of Sunda Prix-Fixe Menu for your large group booking! Each course will be served family-style (sharing) so everyone get to enjoy all of Sunda Signature dishes. $98/person (tax & service charge has been included). Course 1 Edamame, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Tiger Shrimp Tempura Course 2 Spicy "Tail of Two Tunas", Panda, Island Maki Course 3 New York Strip Steak, Szechuan Chicken, Miso Cauliflower, Jasmine Rice Course 4 Mochi Ice Cream *Beverages will be added to final bill at the end of the dinner along with ala carte added items, additional added guests plus 20% service charge & tax. This booking reserved counter height communal tables for 2 hours for your party. Overtime based on availability +$40/person per hour.

This is absolutely a hidden jewel in Tampa!Everything is on par at this place. It is situated in the Midtown District of Tampa, which is very trendy. The ambience of the place was incredible. It is very chic and modern. They have hip chill house music playing in the background, which truly gives it a good vibe. The food was delicious and they offer a great variety. They offered dim sum, sushi, sashimi, Asian dishes, and incredible vegetarian alternatives. Our waiter, Jermaine, was super upbeat and well informed of all of the items on the menu. He was very patient with us since we wanted to have a long evening at the restaurant. Obviously, we tipped him out very well for that. We just moved here from Miami and just got back from a weekend getaway to New York City, and honestly, this is one of the better restaurants that we’ve eaten in any of the three cities. Good for Tampa…..

Great new Southeast Asian restaurant in midtown. Love the restaurant design. Service is solid. Best dishes were the lumpia because of the sauces they serve with it. Also loved the shrimp appetizer. Very well done. Would come back.

We had a great experience. The food is excellent. Everything we ordered (sushi rolls, sashimi, Chinese steamed buns, and some Filipino rice dishes) was all delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent. Our waitress, Sarah, went out of her way to be accommodating and make great recommendations. We were celebrating a birthday and everybody in our party left having truly enjoyed the meal in all ways. Prices are high, which is probably the only reason this will be a special occasion restaurant for us and not one we visit more regularly. It is very noisy and at times it was difficult to hear everyone at our table. Some type of sound insulation would be very nice. Overall, we had a great time at Sunda and we look forward to returning.

The food was really good, we had several items that we really enjoyed so majority of the menu is safe but the lollipop steak was our least favorite. We wouldn't order it again. Drinks were great as well, notably the espresso martini. Dessert menu could use some work in uniqueness, would love to try something other than ice cream, sorbet, and cheesecake. Very pleasant experience and enjoyed my time here, would come again plenty.

Our server, Gracie, was exceptional. She made great suggestions and made our night. The pork belly bao buns and tuna crispy rice were perfectly prepared. Cocktails were awesome too. You won’t regret a night at Sunda. We will keep coming back.
