Located in the lively Gulch entertainment district, Sunda offers a vibrant Southeast Asian dining experience, blending the flavors of Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, and beyond. We elevate culturally significant dishes using high-quality ingredients and modern techniques. Our beverage program includes signature handcrafted cocktails, a robust sake and wine selection, and Asian whiskies and beers. Join us for weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm, or stop by during happy hour Monday to Friday from 4-6pm featuring $6 bar bites, handrolls, and beer, $9 cocktails and wine, and $10 sake. Our venue hosts private events for occasions from corporate outings to rehearsal dinners, and we also offer catering services.

Experience the thrill of crafting your own sushi rolls from scratch, including vibrant salmon, crispy shrimp tempura, and spicy tuna, all wrapped in delicate seaweed and sushi rice. In this hands-on, interactive session, you’ll dive into the art of sushi making with personalized guidance. You’ll perfect techniques for: - Temaki (Hand-Rolled) - Futomaki (Fat-Rolled) - Uramaki (Inside-Out Rolled) This unique culinary experience is hosted in our communal-style seating for an immersive, fun atmosphere. Pat was amazing, he gave us the whole scoop of the menu and gave us some great recommendations to explore Nashville! Great service! The vibe of the restaurant is also so enjoyable and the staff was overall friendly!

We enjoyed everything about our evening as well as the service. Karim (sp?) did an amazing job as we celebrated (2) turning 86 and a 9 year anniversary. Thank you for such great food with amazing presentations!!! We come to dine and enjoy the experience !!

My boyfriend and I just moved here and went out for our anniversary dinner expecting to have a few small plates and some drinks. We had an idea of what we might like but wanted further clarification on menu items and their pairings. At this price point I expected that the dishes, even though they’re all influenced from different cultures, would pair well together and if they didn’t we would be told that. However our server had awkwardly delayed responses, didn’t explain the menu to us at all and when we would try and ask about the food pairings she didn’t point us in any direction other than the raw fish items. She left us feeling more confused and hesitant about the food, which turns out we should have been. We ended up with terrible stomach aches about an hour after and it totally ruined our night and next day. As a server myself I felt like it was a waste of $200+ dollars, we wished we just stayed home.

We had a great time. Kevin provided great service and we enjoyed his company. There was a little confusion with our servers but that was resolved very quickly. We can’t wait to come back
