Inspired by a lifetime of culinary and culturally immersed travel throughout Southeast Asia, our owners developed the Sunda concept to celebrate the beautiful blend of cultures found on the Sunda Shelf, a landmass, today submerged under shallow seas, that was once surrounded by the many different countries and cultures we celebrate at Sunda today like Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, China and more.

At Sunda, we pride ourselves on taking classic, culturally-important dishes from all over this region and modernizing each one by upgrading ingredients, cooking techniques and presentation to create a tasting experience that is completely new while still retaining the deep-rooted spirit of the original.

Guests can also enjoy a beverage program that offers an impressive list of premium sakes, Asian beers, red, white and sparkling wines as well as seasonally inspired cocktails.

Celebrate Filipino American History Month at Sunda with an immersive and interactive culinary event! Experience an island-style Kamayan Feast highlighting the vibrant foods of the Philippines like Adobo Pork Belly, Crispy Pata, Chicken Inasal, Grilled Garlic Shrimp, and more, served on a banana leaf with jasmine rice, fresh fruit, and dipping sauces. Kamayan Feast will take place at 6:30 pm. Enjoy a private screening of FOOD ROOTS before or after your Kamayan Feast, with viewings at 5:15 pm and 7:30 pm (please select your screening time above). FOOD ROOTS is a documentary following Emmy winner and Sunda owner Billy Dec, exploring Filipino cuisine and family secrets in his mother's native islands of the Philippines. Tickets are limited!

Favourite dishes - grilled vegetable curry - coconut cheesecake - longevity crab noodles -strip steak -yellowfin jalapeño Avoid - lumpia (if you even want to call it that)

Fun and creative cocktails, and lots of great food options, both small and large plates. Nice to see many Filipino dishes on the menu, but I would skip the lumpia — not bad, but not exciting for the price. Favorites include the crispy rice w/ tuna and the fresh yellowtail jalapeño. Oxtail potstickers, chicken inasal, and crispy pata were good, and the halo-halo (on the menu as Sunda Sundae) was a great way to end the meal. Will definitely return to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Rachel was a great server, and the whole service team was attentive and friendly.

Love this restaurant. Second time I dinned. First time, service was amazing and attentive staff. Food came out in a reasonable time. This time, service was noticeably slower including getting drinks. When we asked about the drinks, waitress stated a New bartender was working. Not bad service at all, just a difference from the first.

We were a tad late for our reservation due to traffic and limited parking nearby. The food was good and the ambience was nice. Service was great and Kate made great recommendations. She was attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend.
