Fantastic location.Had high hopes for a lovely afternoon tea with friends. Welcome cocktail very nice. Tea finally arrived halfway through the savory course. (despite the restaurant being half empty) Staff aloof and disinterested. Savory food disappointing - beef very dry - no flavour. Very disappointed.

The wonderful team at the Sunborn, could not do any more to make our afternoon tea birthday celebration special. With our entire party running late due to horrendous London traffic we were so grateful to have our table held and for all the kindness the staff showed us during our experience. The spread itself was delightful as was the sun orb special cocktail. Such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or evening. Thank you team Sunborn.

Absolutely well worth it, great setting, great service and staff were attentive but not over the top, overall really enjoyed the afternoon tea and food was really nice too.

This was a gift for a 60th wedding anniversary. The service was exceptional and they catered to our needs. Food was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

The service was very good, staff polite and professional and the afternoon tea and cocktails were fabulous. We went yesterday on a Thursday at lunchtime and weren’t rushed to make way for the next booking. We then went to the bar area downstairs for drinks which was a perfect finish for the day. I thoroughly recommend it!

A very good experience for afternoon tea. A nice surprise that a cocktail or mocktail was included. The savoury and scone selection was the best part of the afternoon tea, the desert selection on the top was just ok. The staff were a credit to the hotel.

Food overall was pleasant but the ham sandwich was stale. Scones were excellent but drink and tea served v late - I had to ask for it to come and it was at least 20 minutes after food arrived. Also we didn’t appreciate the hoovering being done around us when we had finished eating at around 5pm!

A very nice thing to do that is a little different from other afternoon teas that are on offer. Good weather does help.
