Experience was very good. Reservation was easy, we did not have to wait. Food was great and service was friendly. Ambience was amazing with the restaurant's location in Malta's most lively street in the beautiful capital city.

The servers seems doesn't have proper training on how to do the proper food handling and customer service.

I am an old customer of SUN I have been going there for a few years, as it is my favorite restaurant. I was looking forward to go and have the amazing food that they serve. When we arrived there and ordered everything was well but then when the food came we were very disappointed with the portion of food we took the Dakgangjeong the bulgogi rice to share for two as that is what we usually do, but the portions of both were disappointing, you could count the 8 pieces of the chicken and the pieces of the meat in the rice, the pieces the chicken were very small, usually the portion is reasonable both for the price and for sharing, even for one person the portion wouldn’t have been enough…and in the bulgogi rice there was more rice which over powered the other ingredients, the taste was amazing and I could not complain but its bitter sweet that all of that was ruined by the portion…also they had the desert section which we asked for and they told us that they do not have any desert available…I am very disappointed to be speaking about my favorite restaurant like this…but its the upsetting reality

At first we sat outdoors but when it starts to rain we went inside which was none of a problem. The staff was very kind and polite and the food was amazing. The space between the tables are really small but all restaurants in Valetta are like this so we get used to it during our vacation. I only wished I had find this location earlier that I could have went there more often.

Sorry Ruth, I have to repeat here what I already answered in Google. The sake you ordered was a Shriayuki Edo Genroku, a Junmai Genshu type sake produced in Japan. You complained about its dark colour, expecting a clear colour as is common for cheap sake. I copy here the description of the bottle: "Shirayuki Edo Genroku is a strong and complex and Junmai (Genshu), with an interesting salty sweetish haze. Dark chocolate, honey, yeast, dried corn as well as lime blossom and wood. It achieves its amber colour from the wooden barrels (taru) in which it is fermented. " You asked, with no justification, to remove the drink from the bill and we did. Then you wrote your bad review, in Google and here in OpenTable. I don't think we deserve it.
