Jeff Mahin et Francis Brennan,chefs et partenaires du groupe Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, apportent au Lincoln Park de Chicago, en Illinois, leur concept populaire de style californien, le Summer House Santa Monica. Les clients trouveront dans ce restaurant une ambiance conviviale et décontractée, un décor qui rappelle la Californie - celle qu'on surnomme le Golden State - et des ornements inspirés d'une maison de plage. Les chefs proposent un menu aux plats simples, préparés à la main avec des ingrédients locaux et inspirés par les saisons. Beaucoup des plats sont cuits sur le gril. Une carte soigneusement élaborée des vins de Californie accompagne le menu. Un comptoir de boulangerie, partagé avec le Stella Barra, propose une sélection de déjeuners frais avec des pâtisseries, des muffins et les célèbres biscuits du chef Mahin. Every Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, kids 12 and under can craft their own pizzas at the official pizza counter with our chefs for $7.95 plus tax (gratuity not included). Or opt for our tableside option, and have all the ingredients delivered to your table for the whole family to get in on the fun! Kids will wash their hands, use the flour to form the dough, spread their choice of red or white sauce, and build their zae with cheese and toppings of their choice. Once our team pops it in the oven, the pizza will be delivered back to your family’s table for an a-dough-able dinner. Please note, Kids Pizza Making is not offered during the weekend (Friday to Sunday).

Plan your Passover celebrations with a family-style spread at Summer House in Lincoln Park! On Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, dine with us for a holiday dinner menu. Chef Ben Goodnick presents a multi-course meal including traditional dishes like Matzo Ball Soup, Braised Beef Short Rib, Potato Pancakes, and more. The full menu is available on our website. Enjoy the menu as a prix fixe for $57.95 per person and $19.95 per children 12 and younger (plus tax and gratuity). The menu is also available a la carte. Book your Passover dinner reservation today. Great food, great service, great place to spend a couple hours with friends…but remember to tip well for the time you might linger.

Food came out cold…how to you serve cold fries twice. Pizza also came out come 2X Server was absent for most meals, rarely checked in and delivered subpar service. I have been a frequent Summerhouse diner but after this experience I will not recommend this restaurant.

Took the family and we had a great meal together. Fantastic service matched by the food. We had pasta, burgers, fish n chips, crab cakes and the steak. Everything was really nicely done. Be sure to grab some cookies on the way out.

Delicious as always! Cannot recommend the vodka pasta enough! The brussel sprouts were also an unexpected favorite

Overall, very good experience, the servers are good, but also spread pretty thin it seemed. But would still recommend!

We waited over 20 minutes for our reservation and then was immediately told to hurry because they were busy and needed tables. No apology for the lateness. Then they sat us basically in the kitchen and the smell of burnt food was unbearable

Went here for a birthday dinner and honestly thought I had accidentally walked into heaven—because our waitress, Danielle, was an actual angel. She was so friendly, attentive, and funny that I almost invited her to join the party. Best service ever, 10/10!
