Celebrate Thanksgiving at Sullivan's Steakhouse and join us for a traditional holiday feast. We’ll be open from 11am-8pm and serving a special, three-course, turkey dinner with all the trimmings for $51 per person ($25 for children). For a long-time Tucson staple, we were a little disappointed with Sullivan's. Although the food was quite good, service was quite spotty. We felt ignored at one point; during the evening one of the servers was walking around whistling. Huh? I would recommend it because of The Sure Thing: a smaller steak at a reduced price -- perfect.

We celebrated our anniversary at Sullivan’s and we picked the perfect place. Shawn our bartender was awesome and our drinks were delicious (banana old fashioned and the knockout martini.) Rileigh was our wonderful server. The standouts from our meal were the blt table side salad and the bone in ribeye. We recommend this restaurant.

We had a very mixed experience at Sullivan's. Here's what was excellent: 1) Our waiter, Tristan. 2) Our steaks. 3) Sullivan management's willingness to comp us for the salad that was ruined twice. 4) Lovely interior space, delightfully quiet. Here's what was disappointing: 1) I ordered my salad with the dressing on the side. It came dressed. I sent it back. It came back still dressed, plus a dish of dressing on the side. Can it be that the Sullivan's kitchen does not know that "dressing on the side" means put the dressing on the side and Not on the salad? Lots of apologies, I ate it anyway, and the manager removed the charge from my bill. 2) Although the steaks were perfect, the sides were very disappointing, overcooked spinach without any taste of garlic and boring mushrooms. Neither matched the descriptions on the menu. 3) We ordered a very nice wine at a good price. When we wanted a second bottle, we learned that we had drunk the last bottle. We ordered something else, same price but vastly inferior. Again, the management reduced the price of the first bottle by way of compensating us for the disappointment. 4). When I was given the bill for review it was $190. When it came back with my credit card, it was $196.50. I noticed this, but no one mentioned that they were adding the sparkling water that we had. I have no problem with the correction, it's the failure to inform me that they were changing the price. On the whole, I would not return to Sullivan's because at over $100 per person, it should not make so many clumsy mistakes. If everything had been the caliber of the Steaks and the waiter, I would have given it 5 stars.

We were out for a birthday dinner. Service from Luis was excellent and unrushed. We had cocktails and oysters Rockefeller which were excellent. Luis waited until we were finished with the appetizer before taking our dinner orders. Our salads were delivered quickly so we could leisurely eat them before receiving the entree. The entrees and sides were ready as soon as our salads were completed. The staff person that brought my filet suggested I slice into the middle to check that is was cooked as I requested, a very nice touch. The bananas Foster bread pudding was an excellent finishing touch, accompanied by a 30-year Taylor Fladgate Tawny port; this is first time I've even had the 30-year as an option.

We had a fabulous anniversary dinner at Sullivans this evening. From pre-dinner cocktails in the bar (prepared by Erik) to excellent wait service by Luis, everyone was so attentive. The friendly hostesses greeted us and directed us to our table strewn with rose petals and a welcoming anniversary card. We shared the amazing “special” of a huge tomahawk steak, two lobster tails, a bottle of Daou Cabernet, and delicious accompaniments. A complimentary dessert and souvenir photo completed our memorable evening. The ambiance was lovely - overseen by Jenna, Sullivan’s gracious and professional manager. We will return for our next special dinner!!
