    I would like to say that our overall experience was great, but sadly it was not. We had reservations for 5:30 on Saturday. We arrived by 5:15 and there was no host/hostess to greet us. We were the second couple in line and by time the hostess came back to seat us there were about 10 people standing with us waiting for someone. We got seated at a booth too large for a party of 2 and immediately had to ask for a wine/drink list, as it was not provided with our menus, which were served upside down. My wine glass was filthy, so I asked the waiter to replace it, who joked he couldn’t tell if glass was dirty or his eyeglasses. We ordered the beef Wellington bites for an appetizer. Just don’t. These are subpar and a waste of money. The bread basket was offered as an after thought, but was very good - almost a croissant like texture. Dinner was a 16oz ribeye, which was cooked to perfection; however, when it was served and husband was asked to check to see if it met his standards, he had to ask for a steak knife. My dinner was lobster thermidor, which was delicious. We shared the lobster au gratin potatoes - which were delicious. I visited the ladies room and was disappointed in the uncleanliness of it. My husband states the men’s room wasn’t bad. On our way out I passed by a private dining room and was almost knocked over by a waitress not paying attention. Overall, I would choose other steakhouse restaurants in the city over this. The overall experience just wasn’t good.

    Another great meal at Sullivan's. Excellent food and service that is top notch and yet not pretentious. Our server Kris did an awesome job and helped make our evening.

    Updated Post: The regional manager reached out to me first thing the following day and was very understanding and truly listened to the concerns of the prior night. He made me feel like a valued customer and wanted to earn my business again. He talked about just hiring a new executive chef and more. Following the conversation, willing to give Sullivan's another try. Customer service goes a very long way when an issue or issues arise at an establishment. Thank you. Original Post: I have been here 4 times before tonight. Tonight was a horrendous experience. First, it took about 75 minutes to receive our entrees even though the waitress knew we were on a time frame. When we received our order, one entree was totally wrong. The waitress, who did not write down the order came back twice to confirm the order still got it wrong. No apology given or offer to make it right. There was plastic found in the mashed potatoes. There were other issues too. We asked to speak to a manager who was very dismissive and seemed not to really even care. He did not offer to make anything right or give a credit or anything. With so many steakhouses in Pittsburgh, I would recommend any of the others over Sullivans after tonight. They could not even process the payment options correctly.

    We arrived early, 6:05, for our reservation at 6:30. Greeted politely at the desk and the host takes us to our seats. The evening started well and progressed downhill. We ordered drinks and received them in a timely fashion. We then ordered appetizers and they came out, however, no plates were on the table. The waiter retrieved plates. While we were enjoying our appetizers we placed our dinner order and ordered a bottle of wine. We finished our first set of drinks and the appetizers but waited twenty minutes for the wine to be delivered to our table. I spotted our waiter hanging out in an area for 10 minutes because he was in my direct focus. When he spotted me looking, he must of realized the wine. When he came to the table I asked if there was bread. He said it was in the oven and would bring it over. That never happened. Our dinner arrived and I asked for butter for potatoes and he said he would be right back. That never happened. Needless to say this is not how I envisioned my 60th birthday celebration. Even though I received a dessert the evening was not up to the standards of this upscale restaurant. The manager was not available to comment nor did he come around and ask how was everything this evening. Very disappointed with my first and last experience at this establishment

    We went here for the steak. I had the 12 oz filet. I asked for it medium it came medium well. I have a wide aperture on steak temp so no biggie. Net is for $62 I expected better. Not a lot of flavor, outside pretty charred. Also ordered a loaded baked potato as someone else at the bar had one that looked delightful - they must have received the last one of those. First time at a Sullivans - probably the last given other options.

    Not overly busy for a Saturday, so the noise level was talkable. No apps. Wife had the steak salad and I had blackened salmon. Both were prepared and presented very nicely. We shared a loaded baked potato which was salt crusted. Wonderful. A few adult beverages, and the total was just over 2 bills. Cathryn was a very good server.
