My ribeye was not seasoned at all. It was very bland. I topped my ribeye with crab meat and asparagus. The crab meat looked like it was from a can. As well as being extremely bland. No flavor. Asparagus was soggy, and not seasoned. My lobster tail was overcooked and very bland as well. It came with hot butter, so it was OK once you dipped it in butter. Cheese steak egg rolls were amazing! Crab cakes were very good as well. Service was very good! Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Our server Emma H was fabulous. She took care of us and was always asking how are food was and if we needed anything else.

We have been here before and every time the service is extremely slow. My husband and I both ordered the sure thing. The wedge salad did not include bacon and it was six dollars to add bacon which came in big chunks and was not crispy. The steaks were good. The desserts were nothing special. We won't be coming back.

I recently dined at Sullivan’s Steakhouse and had a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our server, Maria. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcome and valued. Maria was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations that enhanced our meal. Her attentive service was unmatched—she checked in on us regularly without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. Maria’s warm personality and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. The food was, of course, outstanding, but it was her exceptional service that made the evening memorable. I highly recommend Sullivan’s, and if you have the chance, ask for Maria!

This was our first trip to Sullivans. My steak had to be cooked three times to get it to temperature. Everyone knows after you cut into a steak, Grilling it again ruins the flavor. Management apologized but offered us no discount on the filet. I won’t be headed back.

Steaks were waaaay overdone. Even though asked for medium. Crab fried rice was super dry - had to ask for a sauce so we could eat. Lots of bugs/gnats kept flying in our drinks - we were not outside so that was weird. Best food was the bread and asparagus. Seating wasn’t optimal. They said the better tables were reserved for 4 people or more and yet many went unoccupied the entire evening. Was our anniversary, won’t be back.

Our food was as good as it always is, but service was a bit disappointing. Our server, Tom, seemed to be distracted, or actually even a bit dismissive of us. Several times we were asking a question and he would cut us off. Just odd, we usually have great service here. Our steaks were very good.

While visiting Kansas City, we searched for a well-reviewed steakhouse near our hotel in Overland, and Sullivan's caught our eye. We arrived early, excited to spend some time at the bar enjoying the jazz trio. The atmosphere, service, and music were fantastic, and we thought we were off to a great start. Our reservation was for 7:15 PM, and after being seated, things took a turn for the worse. We ordered the bone-in ribeye, along with some appetizers and side dishes, and made it clear to our server that we wanted the ribeye "rare," with a cool center—exactly how the restaurant promoted their aged beef. Unfortunately, the ribeye arrived medium, so we had to send it back. When it finally returned cooked to the correct temperature, we were disappointed again—this time, the steak was tough and full of gristle, making it difficult to cut. We ended up leaving a good portion on the plate. Our server offered dessert, which we accepted as we were celebrating my wife’s dragon boat racing results. Overall, Sullivan’s was a major disappointment. The extended wait and subpar steak ruined what should have been a special evening. Next time we’re in Kansas City, Sullivan’s won’t be on our list, nor would we recommend it to others.
