Sugar Factory American Brasserie, America’s favorite eatery and celebrity hotspot, expands in New York with their new Times Square location. The family-friendly, high-energy, celebration destination known for its sweets and treats is set to open in New Yorks famous Times Square.

The food is below average. The service was okay. The ambiance not good at all. Feels dark, outdated, dirty and not fun specially when you compare with other sugar factory locations. I brought 4 kids and it was not the experience I was hoping to give them. I would be never go back to that location.

I had the best time my daughter was very delighted we celebrated her 12th here good food good stuff :)

Had lunch here with my toddlers after seeing their first play. Chose the restaurant solely on its proximity to the theatre and its likelihood for kid-friendly food. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. The menu is extensive but we kept it simple with a bacon burger for me and french toast for the kids. My kids are not good eaters and they finished almost all of the french toast they liked it so much. I was full well before I finished my burger but kept eating because I enjoyed it so much (and didn't feel like taking the rest home). The servers are kind and engaging but not particularly attentive or proactive. But it's the theatre district and I expected very little from a place with photos of Kardashians in the entry. For what it was, I'd absolutely go back again, with or without my kids.

Game changed completely since the last time I went - service was above par, food was delicious and kids had a blast. Can’t speak higher about this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Best known for their dessert. We went during brunch time and a little disappointed as full menu was not available. Dessert was delicious

We had a reservation. Upon checking in, the hostess disappeared for a period of time. When we were finally seated, we were handed the full menu plus brunch. We were never told we could only order certain menu items. It was after 12pm. We ordered and waited only to be told one of the items (chips and salsa) wasn’t available until after 4pm. The sliders I ordered finally came with only cheese and ketchup on the side. Awful experience! They comped us the milkshake we ordered, but almost got us on the tip that had already been added in. 0/10 recommend

Overall, the food was delicious but the service was poor. My friend and I ordered mimosas with our food and the food came out before the drinks. When we got the food I realized that I did not have utensils and it took almost ten minutes to get someone to stop long enough to ask for a fork. My friend finished her meal and I was halfway done and still no drinks. I asked two different people about our drinks who both said they would check and still nothing. When the drinks finally came, they were in small tasting glasses. The waitress told us that they ran out of the regular wine glasses but they would refill our drinks if we wanted. HOW DOES A POPULAR RESTAURANT IN TIMES SQUARE RUN OUT OF GLASSES AT 11:30AM?!?! When we asked for our check they tried charging us full price for the small glasses. I explained that we shouldn’t have to pay full price for almost half the drink and she mentioned again about the refill to which I explained that if we had gotten our drinks not only before our meal but before we were almost finished with our meal than maybe we would have had time for a refill but we weren’t gonna wait another half hour for them to get a refill. I think sugar factory may be a one and done for us.

My 13 year old granddaughter and I ate here on a not too busy Saturday morning. Such a fun atmosphere - we were looking forward to a delicious meal. I ordered an omelet, she ordered the “Cookie Monster” pancake stack. About 10 minutes passed, and we were told that they were out of the Cookie Monster pancakes, so she ordered the Rainbow Stack pancakes instead. My omelet was delivered to the table 20 minutes before her pancake arrive. It was excellent, but the home fries were lukewarm. When her pancakes arrived, they were hard and crusty on the top. Certainly not worth the price! Be aware that a 20% gratuity is added to the check. I noted that others complained about the noise, but it was quiet enough to have a normal conversation.

Our server really just spoiled the whole experience for us. He had absolutely zero personality. He came by and dropped forks off and walked away, never said hi to us at all. He came back and asked if we were ready to order, didn't even start with drink orders. I am really friendly and understanding with wait staff but this guy really was not even trying to be nice. It made my family feel like he was annoyed at us for even being there. He never got us refills. We had to flag him down for anything we needed including the check. The server who was taking care of the table next to us was extremely friendly to them. We wanted to come here because we enjoyed our experience at sugar factory Atlantic City so much, but this was night and day. The vibe should be up beat friendly and fun and he was completely opposite. Food is decent but so overpriced (this was expected). The milkshakes are the show stoppers to end the night.

I have been to 3 sugar factories, and this was the worst experience. The chicken tacos were dry and over salted, the burgers were like hockey pucks and the service was Meah. This restaurant is designed to be an experience and b/c the service & food was so lame they ruined it. The birthday song was lame b/c the service wasn't into it. $700 later - don't go to this spot.
