Named “The Most Instagrammed Restaurant in the United States,” Sugar Factory offers a variety of over-the-top eats, with options for any palette, including burgers, salads, pastas, larger-than-life smoking goblets, Insane Milkshakes and more. Every element of Sugar Factory American Brasserie Honolulu has been designed to give guests an interactive experience filled with memorable moments.

Sugar Factory’s menu features signature over-the-top items such as monster burgers, specialty pizzas, savory crepes and salads. The entire experience was neat for my daughter… and our server was friendly and attentive. But… we ordered the KOBE BURGER w FRIES, & FISH N CHIPS. both came w STALE FRIES, as if it was REFRIED to reheat. when we mentioned it to the server, she apologized and said she will bring out a BASKET OF FRESH FRIES for us. And when that came, it was fresh and hot and great! What is sad is WHY WOULD THEY SERVE STALE FRIES IN THE FIRST PLACE? This is not a cheap restaurant, and obviously they want it to succeed. But the fact that they cannot get something as simple as FRIES right is extremely disappointing.

They are going through a menu change, so a lot of the stuff we had in mind to order, like the rainbow sliders, were not available. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves. There was a photographer who went around and took your picture, then you could buy the photographs.

Videos on large screens were way too flashy and gave us headaches. Main server very inattentive and only saw her about 3-4 times on the floor our entire time there - which made our dining experience unnecessarily long b/c she took so long to come back to take our order. Ambience is odd. There was one Bartender why seemed very good and attentive to customers. The two greeters barely noticed when customers arrived or left.

We came in at noon and only a few tables but of the three of us one lunch came out quickly but we waited over 30 minutes more for a club and Chicken sandwich. The chicken was overcooked but we had no time to send it back as we all had to get back to work. We also came to celebrate a birthday and work anniversary and nothing was acknowledged. I could have understood if it were busy but there were 5 tables total.

Truly enjoyed our experience! The drinks were a bit strong but the staff quickly adjusted for us.

The appetizer sampler was good but the pizza and rib eye steak was pretty bad. The alcoholic beverages was way too expensive and not all that. Probably won’t go there again.

The desserts are gigantic and decadent! So many options and the ambience was so much fun for the kids!

I think & feel that we all enjoy our time together and we plan to go back again… maybe it was the timing, our food came a little bit too long, however no one seemed to notice because we were all so happy seeing each other again after a while… so all good!

Hostess Mia was VERY rude. Almost didn’t eat here because of her. They didn’t have the rainbow sliders which we were excited to try. Waitress said you can only get it at the Vegas location, not sure why they have it on the Honolulu menu if it is always unavailable. Temperature was really warm in the restaurant, they wouldn’t sit anyone outside. We were sweating, other customers were fanning themselves, waitress said it’s always this hot inside. We were lucky to be sitting near the door. We were told they were “understaffed” but there were only 5-7 tables (including our table of 2) the whole time we were dinning in and 10+ employees on the floor at all times. Food from the kitchen came out fast, no complaints on wait times. Hardest part was getting a seat because of Mia. Open table had multiple 3pm, 3:15pm, 3:45pm, etc available reservations and most staff were walking around aimlessly, talking to each other. There was also a bird flying around which no one seemed to care to try to redirect outside resulting in unsanitary tabletops and the bird was flying/ perching within the candy shop. I cannot express enough how unnecessarily rude and terrible Mia was. I have never felt so unwelcome, unwanted, and flat out rejected as a customer. I wouldn’t be surprised if this restaurant doesn’t do well because of her, it just opened in February this year and she’s already driving away customers.

Restaurant was extremely hot! Either the AC was broken, or any cool air was going right out of the front door or two lanai doors that remained open. The music was way too loud, couldn’t even hear the server talk. Food was not great. Salads were mostly lettuce with very little other toppings, chicken tenders were very hard and overcooked, salmon was very over-seasoned and salty. Very disappointing experience.
