The sugar factory was very “energetic”, maybe too much so for old souls like my wife and I. We visited specifically for desert. Service was slow and we were disappointed that what we ordered did not come out as specified. For the price, you should get what you order, how you order it.

Sugar Factory has a great ambiance and the desserts are good, drinks are fun but ok, the food however, is not good. Our appetizers were cold both times after we told them the first time. We were still charged for them but did not complain since it was my son's birthday and didn't want to ruin the evening further with our dissatisfaction with the food. The rest of the food was a mixture. Some were cold, some warm, taste sub par. Our server would walk away while we were still talking to her and continued to rush us through our whole experience from the moment we were seated & greeted. The host and hostess at the front were very nice!! The only thing that was great and fun was the half desert sundae with a sign & song for my son's birthday. That was fantastic!!!! Though they did forget the sparklers they mentioned were included with it. There was a photographer which I thought was nice. They charge $25 for each photo. We did end up purchasing one. We've never been and heard all the rave so we finally got to experience it for ourselves. Though we had a good time due to our surrounding company, the service was poor, the food was poor, the dessert/shakes were good, the drinks were ok but expensive ($50 for one goblet). For $400, we definitely not go for dinner again, but thank you for the song and dance. I hope they improve, it really could be such a great establishment on so many levels. Or just stick to what you know, desserts, shakes and drinks! Nothing wrong with that! Thank you!

we walked out. sat us at a table that was so wobbly the table turned sideways. I asked to move to another table. she told me it was the floor not the table and didn't move us even though place was empty. so we left and went to another restaurant

The service was horrible. There wasn’t that many people there in our waitress kept saying oh sorry for the wait sorry for the wait. It took forever just to get water little on the drinks and food. The food came out wrong. The french fries were cold and so was my tacos. My mom’s fish and chips were sticks as if they took them out of the freezer and fry them. I will probably never go there again.

There were no colored pancakes and a very limited menu as compared to what was advertised online in the OpenTable app. Should have said what was available

Both my wife and I had a goblet drink, my kids had milk shakes, and we had really good food. Very good food and drinks. Happy new year!

The food is great and we love it however the service wasn’t good. The waitress would disappeared for a long time after she went to double check on a question we had.. it took her 30 minutes!! Then the order we got was incorrect when I asked to have something put on the side and yes we want to keep the sauce but then it came out with nothing on the burger!! Toward the end I asked for a to go cup for the milkshake. She forgot and we waited for over 40min.

Luckily the food is yummy! We visited Sugar Factory during our stay at Foxwoods. We had made reservations especially because we were not sure if it was going to be super busy with it being the holiday vacation week. Our reservation was for brunch at 11, when they opened up. It was surprising to see that they started to set up opening at 11. I would think if they opened at 11, all the opening stuff would have been set to go. So, we had to wait and there was a line building behind us. The lady, who ended up being our waitress, was at the hostess desk and doing something on the computer, while another employee (the manager?) was setting up holiday displays. She said do it later to the hostess and then we were attended to. After we were seated, we enjoyed the holiday menu offered, which had a couple of specialty themed breakfast items, but we did not receive brunch menu that offered more breakfast items, so we thought they were not available. We all ended up choosing lunch options. The holiday drinks were in fun mugs and delicious but a bit pricy for the size! The drinks came out quickly, within 10 minutes of us ordering but the food order took so long. When the server came with the tray, we were noticed that our order was incorrect, so before he took it off the tray, we stated that we ordered the chicken sliders and not just tenders. Maybe he grabbed the wrong items. The were soon delivered to our table and were very yummy. Our waitress did come by a couple of times, but we waited chunks of time to get our food and then to get our bill. When we finished eating, we had asked for to go boxes so we can take some of leftover food home. The waitress said they did not have any boxes. For the price we paid, we should be able to take some home. How do you not have boxes or something else.We not impatient people but there were only a couple of tables with occupants that the wait should not have been like that. We are hopeful that our next visit will be better and as delicious!
