Sugar Factory has joined the collective of suburb brands at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ!

Accessible from the boardwalk and inside of the casino, Sugar Factory’s 1,500-square-foot confectionary will feature the signature floor-to-ceiling candy wall with more than 500 types of candy including a selection of novelty and bulk candy like the world-famous Couture Pops. Completing the confectionary, the café will offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.
Sugar Factory’s menu features signature items such as savory crepes, salads, monster burgers, insane milkshakes and specialty pizzas. The legendary desserts will top the menu with the famous King Kong Sundae, serving up to 12 people with 24 scoops of ice cream topped with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce and giant swirly pops, to name a few.

This was our first sugar factory experience and we all enjoyed. We dined outside and caught a good vibe watching folks walk up and down the boardwalk while some good music played. Chris, our server was great and attentive. The drinks were great(lemonade and mai tai) the food was great and make to order (fried shrimp, buffalo wings, the signature SF burger, the big cheesy burger, mini burgers). We definitely will be stopping back through before we leave.

Made reservation while staying overnight at Hard Rock Hotel. Drinks were good, burgers also good, although well done when we ordered medium rare. Environment was nice but very loud and noisy. We also got seated at the last table inside the actual candy store vs the restaurant. We had to watch multiple children and customers choose bulk candy using their fingers instead of the scoops which were directly beside every candy dispenser. Staff filled candy containers oblivious (or not) to all the children and parents letting the cases be disgustingly soiled and contaminated. It was very difficult to ignore and sadly deterred us from not only wanting to buy candy, we couldn’t sit there for a minute longer. With that said, the waitress was overly attentive to the point that it seemed like she was purposely pushing us to order, then eat and finish so she could turn the table over. We were not even there for an entire hour. We sat down through paying in only 40-45mins. I wouldn’t return.

I asked for a Malibu bay breez3 and she brought us 2 shots . Then we got an appetizer of fried shrimp and the shrimp was cold

Our food was not what we ordered and took a long time for it to be corrected but they more than made up for everything by taking care of the entire bill and sending over there hugest desert.

The food was not served hot. It was difficult to cut the French Toast. Food is priced high but the cost does not match the taste and quality. I will not be returning. The milkshakes; however, were good.

Everything was awesome! The food had an amazing taste. The basket of French fries were definitely enough to share. The Ocean Blue drink was so fun. Our server was wonderful!
