What a great find. Cute quaint little restaraunt with great food. I had the pancakes with lemon zest and it was the best food I had on my vacation. Would love to go back and highly recommend.

The pizzas were very good. The bar service was excellent. There was only one waiter on duty so service was slow

We stayed at the Canoe Hotel which houses Sudden Sally and had great breakfasts there. We went for dinner only once and we were disappointed. They have a ‘weird’ dinner menu-not many choices and some are odd combinations. Service was good, the food was not so much.

The food and the menu was excellent . The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We are returning to pick up sandwiches for a day trip to the Icefield experience. Highly recommend and very glad this is on open table.

The best food in Banff we went for a breakfast lunch and dinner, and it was amazingly delicious. Place super beautiful, everyone very organized clean and new, stuff very pleasant and friendly. We had a toddler with us it was great experience for him and also safe. We definitely recommend Sudden Sally and will be back again.

We had breakfast there and quality of the food and the size of portions served were very good .The coffee is amazing too. Good value for money.

I loved the restaurants vibe and the menu options. I was quite happy with my granola parfait. However my mom and brother complained there eggs were very runny and didn’t finish their meals. Service was fantastic though!

Deciding to forego our reservation elsewhere in favor of returning to Sudden Sally speaks volumes about the allure of their diverse menu. Nestled near the Canoe hotel, this gem of a restaurant has only been open for a few months, yet it’s already made a lasting impression. The food is delightful, and the staff’s warmth adds to the charm. The dinner menu includes a children’s section, which my son thoroughly enjoyed—he even sampled our mac & cheese and salmon, declaring Sudden Sally as a new favorite. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either. Despite the absence of a children’s menu, the accommodating staff modified the adult-sized 5-stack pancakes into a 2-stack portion that was not only more suitable for my son but also came at a child-friendly price. The ambiance of Sudden Sally is cozy and inviting, with the option to dine al fresco during warmer days. Sudden Sally has certainly earned its spot on our ‘go-to’ list for dining in Banff

Lovely new restaurant in Banff. Really nice modern atmosphere. The menu has a nice selection of tasty items to choose from. The bowls were yummy as was the margherita pizza and olives. There is a good selection of drinks as well. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other options in town. It is worth the walk to the north end of town to try it out... It will be fun to go back when their patio opens for the season.
