Succotash PRIME is a progressive perspective of classic Southern favorites. James Beard Award winner Edward Lee brings his Korean roots and Southern repertoire to a soulful Southern Steakhouse menu.

SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. While many know “Succotash” when they see it, the dish has been interpreted, modified, and passed from generation to generation for centuries. Our “Succotash” is special to us and we invite you to experience the South from our point of view.

The food was outstanding. Unique well-balanced flavors and creative dishes. The servers were prompt, attentive, and able to anticipate what was needed. The vibe on a Sunday evening was very stiff. It was loud but not vibrant. Tastefully decorated but it felt like a stately bank.

Waited 20 minutes with a reservation. Chicken over cooked. Cornbread portion was tiny. Tea was weak. The waiter was attentive.

Was a very good experience - prices reasonable considering - food good (not great) - seating a little close together- tables are about 2.5 feet apart- perfect for attending Cap One Arena

Everything was fantastic. He started with the tuna tartare, bacon jam deviled eggs, and cornbread. The deviled egg was outstanding and the brown butter with the cornbread was out of this world! We had filet for dinner and it was cooked to perfection! Wonderful restaurant to celebrate our anniversary!

Loved the building. We were first seated in the bar area that seemed like a dungeon. I’m all about ambiance but was so dark in there you needed a flashlight to see the menu. We asked to move and they seated us at another table. That was fine but very close to the table next to us. You can hear everyone’s conversation. Got the shrimp and grits. Shrimp were a bit overcooked and too much fresh dillweed in the dish. Completely overwhelmed the flavor. The pimento cheese hush puppies were good. A little dry. Our friends were happy with the ribs and Korean hot fried chicken.

The food and drinks are great, but we made a reservation and still had to wait 15+ minutes, and we were told once we sat down that the happy hour was not available in that section, which was not specified on the website, on the menu, or anywhere else.

Amazing venue with superb, professional wait staff (thx Tram!) and tasty menu. We appreciate the effort and goal of a wonderful dining experience, and Succotash did not disappoint, even while maintaining a reasonable price point. The fried chicken had a simple but well-seasoned batter, not over fried, and the greens were tart but well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Add the chocolate pecan pie…. Oh my. Our spoiled Southern selves cleared our plates and enjoyed every bite. Amazing!

The deviled eggs was good and creamy. The hush puppies was okay. Grits and gravy was not the best. It had a sour taste and not seasoning. I order the Cobb salad but didn’t eat it there. The waitress was the best. She was very courteous and it time with our starters and entrees.
