Succotash PRIME is a progressive perspective of classic Southern favorites. James Beard Award winner Edward Lee brings his Korean roots and Southern repertoire to a soulful Southern Steakhouse menu.

SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. While many know “Succotash” when they see it, the dish has been interpreted, modified, and passed from generation to generation for centuries. Our “Succotash” is special to us and we invite you to experience the South from our point of view.

We've been there twice before. The first was great, the second was great, and this time just meh. Part of it was that one entree (of five) was not really hot and another entree did not come out at the same time as the others by about 10+ minutes. The server (who was great) did say she'd give a free dessert, which she did. It was an assortment of mediocre small bites. Maybe she should have just offered a free dessert or after dinner coffee, since everyone had ordered dessert already. I should add that the people who worked there (from host to server to assistants) were terrific and very friendly.

Great time! went for restaurant week and the butternut squash bisque, shrimp and grits and the rib hash were perfect. Going back for chicken & waffles and the smoked wings. The corn bread and bacon jam deviled egg was good too. For the drinks, the sojuto was clean and refreshing.

We had a nice meal and service but we were charged around $100 for 3 drinks. I’ve been told the bill would be adjusted $30, which hadn’t happened. That’s still $70 for 3 drinks that were made wrong. I’ve been to this restaurant before but this is unacceptable. I’m probably going to have to dispute the charge with my credit card. Unacceptable Succotash.

When we arrived we were told we would have to wait about 10/15 minutes and were told we could wait in the waiting area or outside. The waiting area was not an area, they simply pushed us into a corner of the bar as if they were ashamed of us and all the guests who were there. The waiting area was not organized and tidy, but rather seemed to be a last-minute improvisation and they didn't even offer us a glass of wine on the house for being late. Other than that the food was very good, the waiter who served us was very polite and helpful and very patient - he deserves a raise!! He was simply lovely.

Delicious food and great service. It was a great place to celebrate and the Restaurant Week menu was excellent.

We made reservations . When we arrived 15 mins early they told us that they were 30 mins behind. They told us we could wait inside or outside. We took a walk and were back by 7:30pm. We then and sat at the bar. It was extremely loud in the restaurant and apparently did not hear our name. Our table was given away. We did not sit down for dinner until 8:30pm and not at 7:30 the time of our reservation. The food and service were good.

The shrimp & crits was too salty. And I wanted to enjoy dinner slowly after ordering a bottle of wine, but after arriving at the restaurant for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, they kept asking if I was done eating. So I finished eating and came back after 1 hour and 30 minutes.

While the building was beautiful, the food was very bland. We had the short rib and it had no taste to it.

Everything was good with the meal minus the collard greens were not cut at all making them difficult to even get onto your plate. It made for a bit of messy experience
