My wife and I had a very nice anniversary dinner at Subito. This was our first visit, so we weren't sure what to expect. We had an early reservation (5:30) and were seated at a table in the enclosed patio near the fireplace. Great spot on a cool evening. Our waitress suggested a glass of prosecco to toast the occasion. Good start to the evening. My wife had the saltimbocca and I had the lamb chops. Both were excellent. The marsala sauce on the saltimbocca was particularly tasty. Our waitress surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. I was pleased to find no charge for the prosecco or the dessertwhen I received the check. The restaurant was not crowded on this quiet Wednesday night and we were able to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing meal. Subito was a good choice for a special celebration but would be nice for a casual date night.

Our experience from start to finish was excellent. Our server was meticulously aware and provided for a very enjoyable meal with a long-distance family member. We each ordered a pasta and a salad or soup. The food was perfectly seasoned, the perfect temperature, and portion size. From our warm greeting upon arrival outside to the front desk to our service, we had a great time. We definitely will be back.

The staff all did an amazing job. We were seated quickly (had a reservation). They asked if we were there for something special and it was my husband's birthday. We did not expect anything for it, but they lavished us with a drink and strawberries with a candle. It was better than we could ever imagine. Thank you for making it special.

I was surprised at how average-to-poor the experience was. Latte was good but the plain coffee was absolutely not. French toast was very disappointing. It was a cross between meatloaf and a brick and it was overcooked and way too sweet. The sausages tasted like they were frozen from a box and defrosted. Service was not great either. With all of the other options in the area, this was not an experience worth going back another time for.

The food was exquisite. The chef is too notch. The ambiance was fantastic with live music and beautiful open decor. Service was very friendly and personable. The historic neighborhood was peaceful and classy. It was our first time to there and we’ll definitely be back.

Our first time there the four of us agreed it was outstanding. We plan to go back. Parking is extremely limited, so plan to pay $14 for valet. But it was well worth it.
