We dined at Subito for our 25th anniversary. The staff was welcoming and knew the menu and wine list very well. Both had a great range of options. We had oysters, which were great and one of the great salads. I had Halibut and my wife had the chicken, prosciutto and pasta. The bottle of wine was also fantastic. The ambience, attention from the staff and quality were all spectacular!

I did the New Years Eve 5 course meal. For a $300 bill for me and my fiancé. I was expecting a bit better quality. The hotel was very nice though. I just don't think I would pay for that again.

For the price, the food was not up to my expectations. 3 of the 5 course menu was great. The main entree and the dessert was not that great.

I don't know where to start because the entire dining experience was so amateurish and sub par. From the wine service to the quality and seasoning of the food, to undercooking the pasta (which happens often nowadays since cooks are afraid to over cook the pasta which results in undercooking it) and over cooking the lamb. It felt like a lowend hotel restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Sadly we were left wanting sooo much more. Bar area is beautiful. Restaurant seating is cold, uninviting and like sitting in a 4 seasons room of a home. No ambiance whatsoever. Bread service was fine and calamari as an app was delicious. My Caesar salad had no taste, even with anchovies filets added. My husband & daughter shared the cowboy ribeye, Medium. Came out very rare and cold. Green beans and potatoes were also cold. I asked why didn’t he return it???? I had the Bolognese, pasta was hard and sauce had no flavor. My other daughter had the shrimp linguine (which as a top 50 pasta dish in the country according to our server) she said it was “fine” but nothing to go back for. We shared a bottle of Pinot Noir, which was delicious and my husband had a beer. With tip $375….didn’t come close to a $400 meal. Our server was very good - sadly can’t remember her name. Too many good restaurants in the city for a repeat dinner.

Service was amazing as was the food. We were celebrating a birthday and they reserved a table next to the fireplace for us.

Took far too long for the food to be served. The wait person was not very pleasant . Seems like she really didn't want to be there.
