Outstanding student-led event. The food was wonderful. The students were engaged and organized. My only complaint is that the venue of Farquarson Hall was noisy with poor acoustics. The sound system should be better.

The students held a well planned and executed fundraiser with a fun Imagination theme based on Willy Wonka. The food, desserts, bread, wine tasting was all scrumptious! Lovely experience, second time attending. I’d highly recommend it and there are multiple student events run each semester.

The event was certainly fun. The cocktail hour was the best part. The drinks and food were different and good. We thought 3-3.5 hours for dinner was too long. The food was probably good but EVERYTHING was cold. None of the food we were served was even warm. I think that is unacceptable for a $150 meal at the CIA. We will certainly think twice before going to another special event.

I am writing my review base off of the experience, I believe that you are as good as your TEAM and the LEADERSHIP was not showing that as a group. If the LEADERSHIP is not united, how do you expect everyone else to follow. There were missed opportunities from the leadership, and the volunteers looked confused in what they are suppose to do. And as leader you never let your team fall, by not helping out the rest of the group. To have the professor carrying a tray was crazy, The lack of communication showed, because we asked several times for a server to get a drink that we asked three different people and one of them was a Assistance General Manager who never came back to the table, she never stopped past our table to see how things was going or how did enjoy the food, nothing. And was even more sad was that we had one of the chef that teach at the school who was also the mentor of the student in there dishes. We had former CIA students that were at the table with us and just to hear them speak about their experience and remembering their own Capstone was interesting. Communication is so key to a successful dining experiences, it can make or break experience to decide if you would ever come back to the restaurant again; your food can be great but if the overall experience does not show then you may not come back again.. But overall it was good, but could have been better is everyone was a team. The food was good but the table sitting was off, because we had some people at our table to had food allergies and almost got the wrong dish. So Again LEADERSHIP and COMMUNICATION is key for a successful business.

These students did a terrific job with their capstone, from conception to execution. The ambiance was energetic, drinks inventive, food exciting and the service was great and with a great attitude.

The evening was wonderful with just a few glitches but more highlights! The apps were great and the soup was phenomenal! Dessert went beyond perfect! I am not a beet fan but the choice of beets were lovely! I enjoyed the avocado palate cleanser and the beverage served with the Bananas Foster was exceptional! The pairing was one of my favorite ever! These students worked so hard and they deserve kudos!
