Student Charity Events at The Culinary Institute of America

Join us as we take a delightful stroll through the picturesque town of Provence, France, at the CIA's senior event, Lavande. Immerse yourself in the flavors of the Southern French Coast with a spectacular cocktail hour followed by an exquisite dinner prepared and served by our graduating Bachelor's students. This celebration of culinary excellence is also a tribute to the incredible efforts of Portraits of Hope, an organization enriching the lives of children and adults, who face adversity or serious illness, they participate in creative, educational, and high-profile projects. We will also honor the memory of Omolade "Lade" Perry, a 16-year U.S. Navy veteran and dedicated CIA Bachelor student, highlighting the Love for Lade Scholarship.

Join us for an exciting night at the CIA’s senior capstone event: Vineyard, Inspired by the cuisines and scenery of Martha’s Vineyard. Enjoy an elevated take on food and flavors of the island while surrounded by the esthetics of the Cape Code coast. The event is planned and executed by the graduating CIA bachelor’s degree students, to benefit the Atlas Free charity organization. Their mission is to fight against sex trafficking and exploitation while offering support to victims around the world. In addition a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Love for Lade Perry Memorial Scholarship, in honor of Omolade “Lade,” Perry, a 16-year U.S. Navy veteran, and student in the bachelor’s degree program, who passed away in March of 2022.
