Michelin Starred Stubborn Seed is the result of pairing unrelenting passion with an unapologetic approach. It aims to unearth cravings of the palate while constructing a reward in each bite. This philosophy takes honest ingredients and elevates them. At the helm is 2022 James Beard Award Semi-Finalist and Bravo’s Top Chef Season 13 Winner, Chef Jeremy Ford. In 2022, Stubborn Seed was awarded one Michelin star in the highly coveted inaugural Florida guide.


Stubborn Seed is a tasting menu only restaurant, with the option of a la carte service or the tasting menu at the bar. Reservations are available for table service and also available for the bar. Dress code strictly enforced as smart-casual. We are unable to accommodate tasting menus for guests following a vegetarian or vegan diet.

A cancellation fee of $50 per person will incur if cancelled within 24 hours of the reservation. On holidays and special occasions, cancellations fees will be $100 per person.

    OpenTable Presents Summer Sets: Miami. This unforgettable dining experience allows diners to celebrate some of the best chefs in Miami and the music that inspires them and their menus. Join us at Stubborn Seed on Tuesday, July 9th at 7:00pm to enjoy a 3-course, family style summer menu with wine pairing and welcome drink. Full bar menu available a la carte with seasonal summer cocktails. Our menu is inspired by the summer flavors of South Florida with several ingredients coming from Chef Jeremy Ford's Farm. All sales are final with no refunds.

          A truly fantastic experience! Starting from the ballet-like movements of the chef’s crew, visible from the show kitchen, to the passionately executed flow and table presentation of Arturo and the FOH battalion. And yet, the theatricality of the evening was brilliantly complemented by the exquisite flavors of every single heavenly bite. Bravo!

          Fantastic experience. Congrats to the chef for this menu. Mix of flavors was just perfectly balanced. Certainly a place to eat when you come to south beach.

          Outstanding experience with an interesting cadence of wonderful flavors in each course. The staff only served to make the first time there a memorable one. The team worked together, were extremely attentive but not at all intrusive. Must go if you enjoy a fantastic food experience.
