Enjoy unapologetically authentic Thai food in the East End. All food is made from scratch by native Thai chef and James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Texas Benchawan Jabthong Painter.

Chef Benchawan and her husband—who also spend time in their Bangkok home each year—have painstakingly built out a restaurant that would fit into Bangkok’s hip Thong Lor neighborhood, but they have located it in Houston. Expect trendy Thai vibes, music, strong cocktails and an adventurous wine list to accompany Chef Benchawan’s acclaimed dishes.

The largest party Street to Kitchen can accommodate is 6 people. If more than 6, you can arrange a private Thai tasting menu, including a minimum spend. please contact us via email at eatthai@streettokitchen.org Thai tasting menus can also be made available for smaller parties if confirmed at least one week before via the same email.

Graham personally took care of recommendations & wine choices. And checked on us throughout our meal. Such friendly & attentive servers. Will definitely go back with more friends. Couple we brought said the same. Will go back. Wished it were closer to Galleria.

Portion sizes were a joke. Ordered the lunch set for $28 per person which included 3 dishes. Each dish was less than a cup in total volume. The curries were nearly tasteless (green and massaman). I asked for some fish sauce and chilies to add to the curries and they refused saying the food had enough flavor. If you enjoy overpriced, bland Thai food this is the place for you.

The upgrades were a pleasant surprise!!! Street to Kitchen has everything you need to share in an all-around great food experience. I frequented the older location, but the new and improved atmosphere was a gift. The food was just as great as I remember, if not better, and our server (Miranda) was kind and knowledgeable. I love the new vibe so much, I would work there!!! Thanks for giving Houston quality and authentic Thai dining.

Good was very good and well priced, however, the restaurant was extremely loud and dark. We couldn’t hear the other side of the table and requested if they might be able turn it down a bit but they weren’t willing. The server was not particularly kind or attentive and the service was slow but otherwise it was good.

Great! Thoughtful dishes are above average and service is attentive. Street Parking can be tough but it’s not impossible. I will definitely go here again

This restaurant is Amazing! Parking is tight & it’s a bit hard to find (leave early) but well worth the trip! The dumplings are to die for! So is the lamb shank! Excellent service & the staff is both friendly and helpful! Great bourbon selection too!

Decent Thai fusion place in my opinion. Some of their menu items were overthought though. Great green curry but not too impressed with the Lab Shank curry nor their coconut ice cream with fish eggs and fried onions which I found out about later after I tasted . This was my second time at this restaurant as the first one was amazing but this time was not up there probably due to my choices this time. Service was exceptional though.

Great service, amazing food, and beautiful ambiance. For years we went to Kanomwan in the East End for Thai, we finally found a place that is even better! We’ll be back.
