Our menu harks back to pre-Covid times, when food was made from scratch, using fresh ingredients, and cooked by qualified chefs. Head Chef Simon Burgess specializes in pizza, pasta, and risotto, but is pretty excited about most culinary areas! The rest of the culinary team, Shanice, James, Bart, and Lisa work alongside Simon, to prepare pizzas, pastas, risottos, burgers, steaks, salads, and Spanish tapas for your enjoyment.

Great place! Breakfast & coffee was lovely! Service was great. Only suggestion would be to get a nicer ketchup 🙈 it was very vinegary.

Our first visit in the new location, we had a lovely lunch. The pizzas were particularly good - our girls chose chicken Caesar salad which was a good size with plenty of chicken and garlic croutons, and the house burger which was piled high and served with chunky chips. Food was reasonably priced and the service was attentive & friendly making it a nice treat during the Summer holidays.

As ever with Stray's, and particularly with the singer and musicians backing her, I enjoyed a captivating evening, well-placed almost in the front row, and served drinks effectively and courteously.

We used to love a treat at Strays especially the Jazz & Tapas evenings so couldn't wait until we got to try the new venue, a great business and an awesome building. What a let down! We had already heard not so good reports about food and waiting times but we were still willing to try it, I really wished that we hadnt! A birthday treat and all, the menu is very limited, ok if you like pizza yet I thought Zi-zi had gone, are they trying to replicate? Food arrived cold and had to be sent back, which was returned I can only imagine microwaved as it was the same piece of fish and plate especially as i was informed it would be a fresh serving! We were offered 10% refund as an apology only to find it was 10% of that dish a mere £1.65 for having to eat dinner at different times. The waiting staff were nice yet when we left not a single person said thank you, even when we smiled at them. So sorry to have to say Strays we both thought Strays has lost it charm, service and appeal and it felt as though it was too big a challenge for you to take on ... what a shame!

Lovely venue with great food and helpful staff. Having the live music really adds to the experience.

Our first visit and we were not disappointed. Food, service, entertainment and venue all excellent. We will definitely return.

The food was good but the portion size which was Jake was tiny and overcooked. We had a great evening though!

This is the third time I’ve eaten at Strays and the service as always was great. Their new staff members are really knowledgeable of the menu and couldn’t be more helpful. The food came out quickly and was delicious and we enjoyed listening to the jazz band whilst we nattered. Looking forward to going back. Thank you
