Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis.
Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have a full vegetarian and vegan menu with gluten-free options. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday-Thursday from 11am to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Saturday and Sunday morning we offer brunch from 11am-3pm. We have a Main Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Kids Menu.

We got sat down by the very attentive hostess but then we had to get our own glasses and request drinks 3 times. And then we had to do the same when we asked for re-fills. The food was not bad but our waitress was very inattentive and did not care about our table compared to others.

The hostess was welcoming. Our server Chuck was attentive, friendly, and answered all of my wife’s questions about the neighborhood as we were on vacation in Minnesota for the first time.

The new Monday lunch Collab with Captain Yum Yum' pop-up is great. I've had both the smoked chicken, and the bratwurst rice bowls, they were delicious. The Korean Onion soup is phenomenal.

Sam's Korean Onion Soup is delicious. The flavors have a kick and a comforting taste at the same time. Very soothing!

Burgers are awesome. Maybe a little over priced but delicious. We’ve been coming here when it was The Bulldog and really love the doggy vibes. Cheese curds great too!

Loved the new "Lunchtime Mondays experience" with Captain Yum Yum in house! Delicious food from Captain Yum Yum, and as always great service from Stray Dog. People need to come check this out!! Can't wait to see what you try next!

We met for lunch on the recommendation of friends and The Stray Dog delivered! Easy parking, fun ambiance, good tunes, personable and friendly service, and really, really good food. We ordered sliders, a breakfast plate, brussel sprouts, cheese curds and chips. Not a complaint from anyone. Staff was genuinely friendly, especially our server Jenn who was patient with letting our small group catch up and talk before ordering and after eating. She was fun! I’ll be back on my next visit to my beloved Minneapolis!
